Sometimes you make really good points and defend your positions really well.
This isn't one of those times.
Yeah SS is playing his normal party tricks to tick people off, nobody with any intelligence would make such a moronic comment in the face of the continual garbage flying out of Trump's mouth on a near daily basis.
Makes you wonder why someone would intentionally shovel the bullsh!t just to bother others...hey that is the same way Trump behaves!

Ok Ok just one Mod on the pile at a time ..please!
Trump has changed his political affiliations several times over the
years.
The fact-checking website PolitiFact reported Trump was, in fact,
registered as a Democrat from August 2001 until September 2009
So ,as we see he was a registered Democrat in 2005 when the tape clip was made..nevertheless what have I posted that you are in disagreement with..my brother?

Obviously what Trump said was wrong. Nobody with any decency thinks it is right. But look at some of the threads just on covers---dating young girls, free porn, etc. Or listen to most guys when they are amongst other guys talking about women. Some are way more crude than Trump was. I have heard women talk the same way about men. Obviously certain athletes, politicians, celebrities have an entitled attitude in life --- and this includes their feeling towards women also, sad as this may be. We, for some reason, seem to think these folks should be role models, or held to a higher standard. They are not priests; they are usually just privileged normal folk. Sometimes this type of talk is also done to impress other guys or to seem like one of the guys.
It is the society we also live in where we objectify the opposite sex. Mostly it is the women.
I just find it hypocritical that so many Republicans now want to distance themselves from Trump. Look at their main tv station and the way their women news anchors are presented. I understand that ogling women and making crude comments are two different things. But to act in dismay, as if one never knew some guys (and girls) talk this way in private, is disingenuous.
The same thing with John Edwards before and others about their affairs. This is another example of politicians and their attitude of entitlement and objectification of women.
Now people like McCain and Welch are distancing themselves from Trump---when they have both have well-documented affairs.
Nobody should have to denounce crude statements like this. It should be understood that most people don't agree with this talk. It is so silly. Just like the President having to come out and denounce terrorism. Why? Of course it is wrong---everyone knows certain things are wrong. Why even ask people how they feel about it? It is understood already.
The other issue as a side note is why do people expect politicians to be any different when it comes to this sort of thing? It doesn't affect how they govern at all. We may not like it and it looks bad. But it is both parties---because it is most people.

CNN covered this wall to wall today. They could not get enough of it. Personally I can not wait for the debate tomorrow night. Should have some fireworks. Trump needs to stand tall like General George Patton. I don't think this hullabaloo will change anybody's mind.

I was watching all the major networks like I usually do and I never saw a network that giddy. They played the word pu**y over and over for more effect. They were saying he was going to quit, his people would resign blah blah blah. They should be ashamed of themselves because that was anything but fair reporting. Simply disgusting.
If you think Trump lost the debate last night you aren't being fair. It was a knockout and the polls clearly show that. HRC had a chance to end this and she couldn't. Not only didn't she but Trump now has the momentum and his supporters are rallying even more after this controversy. We'll look back and say this even helped Trump.

The recipe for the perception of the trump supporter seems to be:
2 parts low information, 2 parts uneducation, 3 parts desperation, 3 parts pure delusion, 4 parts emotion and mix with any variety of racist or any other misc angry rhetoric.
The delusion part come across loud and clear here while the desperation part seems to really come across in other analysis by trump fan-boys.
I think with out the recipe, you can't get these types of responses let alone getting some one to actually see the worst and least qualified presidential candidate ever as the best choice, and I am talking even in the primaries where the GOP majority voting base actually chose trump over legit conservative candidates

Trump supporters are delusional
Bill Clinton is not running for president
Trump and his supporters believe it's OK to go after Bill Clinton's misconducts in the nineties but what Trump said 11 years ago is just "locker room banter"

Most of those who are complaining about Trump today have no basis for their moral outrage. Why? because election after election they support a party whose secular worldview rejects any basis for the kind of moral judgement you dare place upon The Donald.
Any argument they make against the "immorality" of Trump is borrowed for expediency from a religious worldview they have soundly rejected.
They aren’t outraged because they’re decent. They’re using your decency as a pawn or tool in their quest for political power. Re-read that again.
There is no defense. The danger of any comment on the video of Donald Trump’s lewd comments is that it will appear to defend him. What he said was gross. Fullstop. But I resent wholeheartedly watching the left howl like a bunch of puritanical wolves over Donald Trump partaking in a culture they created.

Absolutely shocked to see the biggest idiot in this forum unable to comprehend what the smartest guy in here just said.
Get some class, you are better than this.
To me the issue isnt ONE event that happened, to me it is the person, his flaws and biases are beyond repair and as a country we cannot have a leader this disgusting...even all the tripe that SS tried to compare is nothing, it isnt even close to the horrible, awful person Trump is...he is this way, has been and will continue to be this way. He is a biased, abusive bully. Even with the slimeball Clinton is, Trump is far far worse...plus he has zero platform, he has no concrete ideas.
Talk about a real estate developer doing business without a concrete business plan, how can you vote for someone with no idea about what he will do IF elected? If he ran his businesses like this, he would never have made it even this far...he is a political zero and the country needs a leader with SOME kind of clue about how to do the job.
Clinton for the awful person she is, is capable of running the country and as unfortunate as it sounds she at least has some kind of concrete plan and has articulated it. Trump has done NONE of that...none at all.
I dont like Clinton but there is no other choice, and the choice isnt the pot CEO who has no idea about so many things either...

Trump would have been far way behind Hillary Clinton in the polls If it had not been for years of Republican fabricated conspiracy theories, character assassination, Benghazi hearings ..etc, which created a perception of dishonesty about Clinton
Both candidates have baggages
Clinton: Carry-on baggage
Trump: Checked-in baggage
Just because someone votes Republican does not mean he/she is "Conservative" or has conservative values
Anyone can be socially liberal and fiscally conservative
The deplorable-in-chief and his basket of deplorables are angry at anyone who disagreed with them.
Just because they are Republican they assume they own the USA and know what's best for this country ( Obama was going to destroy America yeah right)
One of the issues at stake in this election is Net Neutrality
While Clinton has
stated her positions
on most, if not all, of
the issues ITIF has
identified as key
priorities for
promoting innovation,
Trump has been
much vaguer , According to The Information Technology & Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a public policy think tank, recently analyzed Clinton’s and Trump’s positions on technology.

If there's one thing I have noticed over the years,, in the Covers politics forum..it's that if a moderator comments in a thread it brings out all the apple polishers..

Don't let him be the spoiler trying to insult you for giving your opinion and commenting on threads. I encourage any who brings intelligent discusssion and dialog like you do. I get it that the often obsessive efforts to side track and derail the civil dialog with ridiculousness, antics and games may be the agenda for some. Always makes you wonder what purpose that all serves

Trump has baggage but perhaps his strategy is to get cushy red handed trying to smuggle contraban through TSA and having alarms on the metal detector going off and dogs barking with the explosives he has on him as a way trying to create a distraction from his bags and bags of baggage.
That might explain Deceptive Donald's fact check issue in the debates.
