The new two-page memo from Secretary of State Marco Rubio contains no allegations of criminal activity. Instead, it argues Khalil is deportable because of “beliefs, statements or associations” that would compromise US foreign policy interests.

The memo was submitted in response to a request from an immigration judge for evidence supporting the administration’s order to remove Khalil, who is a legal permanent resident.

Consumer sentiment plunged 11% this month to a preliminary reading of 50.8, the University of Michigan said in its latest survey released Friday, the second-lowest reading on records going back to 1952.

Sentiment has now lost more than 30% since December 2024

April’s reading was lower than anything seen during the Great Recession.

“This decline was, like the last month’s,
pervasive and unanimous across age,
income, education, geographic region
and political affiliation,” Joanne Hsu,

The housing market is now flooded down here with many Canadians putting there condos up for sale. Our 2 renters have already told us they will not be returning to Florida next year.

International students, who add so much culture to our universities will think twice about getting an education in the US. If we lived in another country, as a parent I would not allow our kids to enroll in a school here.

Law firms are being singled out by Don the Con & are succumbing to this vindictive prick.

Just on this point alone, I was reading recent stats by the Canadian govt indicate that visits to the US (tourism income for Americans and American businesses!) has dropped 13% just from Canada!

The larger point being that overall American tourism incomes and businesses ARE now and WILL take a noticeable, significant loss, not just from retreating Canadians, but across the globe.

Good Americans (those who support Democracy, the Constitution, while opposing authoritarianism) such as people in your situation, might now be forced to lower rent $ just to attract tenants - causing lost income.  This in turn makes disposable incomes lower than before. Akin to a tax, but certainly not in line with the CONVICTED FELON's promises to make cost of living BETTER.
