Ends the week well with the prosecution having a clear edge in arguments!
Furthermore, the team representing the twice-impeached/convicted fraud/sex-offender - who is also ranked the WORST president in US history - demanded that the trial judge reciprocate and place a gag order on Michael Cohen too
It is expected trump's former lawyer of 12 years will testify Monday.
@fubah2
I am very much looking forward to this. He knows where all the bodies are buried that Trump directed him to do!

Day 2 of the testimony by trump's former loyal servant, Michael Cohen, who trump threw under the bus long ago, causing Cohen to go to prison for the crimes trump set in motion.
Cross-examination very intense but most accounts agree there was no clear winner.

Slight correction: consensus seems to suggest COHEN was credible and damning to the defense of the fascist wannabee dictator, despite the evil team trump trying to discredit him personally, not his actual testimony

with all sincerity, peace and love in the world..... what in the actual hell are you and your brethren going to do when Donald J. Trump assumes power in January of 2025 ??
never once have you replied to a direct query of mine in the past 4-5 years I've wondered around in this cess pool sub forum, so I don't actually expect an answer and that is quite OK under the rules & regs of this hosted interweb forum site (although not under the rules of man), but I am genuinely intrigued in what will happen to all the "never Trumpers" after he takes control of the most powerful Nation on this Earth come Jan 25.
If there was ever a time for Fupa to stand up tall and answer from the heart, and not the company paid mainstream media for regime narrative "guy", the time is now....
No better of a source to answer the question, "what will you and all the NT's do when the Trumper takes the power back for FOUR MORE YEARS??" The forum would appreciate your assistance in helping us all on both sides of the aisle understand the mental melt down implications. Thanks Foops
Its a fascinating situation we have here. Extra butter on my popcorn please....
Thank you America

According to the Wall Street Journal, a bill, co-sponsored by Comer and Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA), "would force presidents and vice presidents to disclose their tax filings for the two years before entering the White House, for the years while in office, and for two years afterward" and "compel them, along with close family members such as children, siblings and in-laws, to disclose payments from foreign entities as well as large gifts and loans from family members."
It remains unclear whether this bill, which Comer praises as "a good product" that resolves a "gray area" in ethics law, will gain traction in the House or pass the Senate. However, it is a surprising development after former President Donald Trump spent years refusing to release his tax returns, with the blessing of Republicans in Congress.

Yes, one does have to wonder.... I asked the non-resident Covers ChatThirdBot, in this case, ChatGPT4.0 this exact question. Here was the A.I. summary response:
ME: "what are the odds Donald Trump wins the 2024 election if the jury is hung"
ChatGPT4.0:
"Given these factors, it's challenging to assign precise odds, but a hung jury would likely maintain Trump's viability as a candidate more so than a guilty verdict. The political impact would depend on the specifics of the case, the broader context of the 2024 election cycle, and how well Trump and his opponents can leverage the situation. If Trump can effectively portray the hung jury as evidence of his persecution and rally his base while mitigating damage among independents, his odds of winning could remain substantial. However, ongoing legal uncertainty could also pose risks and challenges to his campaign."
Thank you America

If a politician says a necessary policy is "radical," it's because they're paid to say it.

Interesting trial, but the consensus all along, including right here on this forum, is that while the POS is guilty, the jury will allow him to escape justice. He didn't escape justice in the massive FRAUD trial and didn't escape justice in the rape trials, but we expect that he will here.
He has also escaped justice by having SCOTUS deliberately drag their feet on his behalf regarding an "immunity" case - thus setting back three criminal trials until AFTER the election......and without knowledge of the trials and effects the voters might well vote him back in....whereupon he will politicize the DOJ and make those criminal cases disappear. (it should be noted that he falsely accuses Biden of politicizing the justice system against him - despite no proof of that - yet it's clear HE will do it if elected - likely in the first week)

NO that isn't it. He isn't going to get convicted because in this country there has to be guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. I read the transcripts. There isn't anything tying Trump to this beyond Cohen who is an admitted liar and frankly on partial immunity for his testimony. Plus the testimony that the money was for his attorneys fees in connection with other representation (i.e. the Apprentice defamation case) which seemly a stretch is credible enough not be proven untrue. If he is cooking his books likely no one knows but himself and he isn't going to admit it. The other witness was the porn star, adulterer, opportunist and extortionist herself (Stormie Daniels). You can't convict anyone on her testimony alone. Bottom line there is no smoking gun. Nothing that you can really hang your hat one with 100% (or near 100% certainty). I am certain too that Trump did this. Any intelligent person can see this seems pretty shady. But that isn't the fricking LEGAL STANDARD. Like him, hate him, indifferent the law is the law. I am certain the left won't stop trying to convict him of something. I am also certain there is plenty they could try to convict him on. Sure wish the left would put the same energy in cleaning up the corrupt politicians on their side of the aisle. I am certain that is too much to ask.

Yep not a response. Per usual. One either too stupid to actually be able to intelligently respond to a proper legal analysis of the situation or two can't admit (or want to turn a blind eye on) that the left is just as corrupt as the right. This is how low politics has become in this country. Perfect!
