DID pay for sex and drugs, obstructed Congress!
WASHINGTON, Dec 23 (Reuters) -
[Disgraced] Former republican Congressman Matt Gaetz
[ originally chosen by trump as the next US Attorney General ]
paid tens of thousands of dollars to women for drugs and sex
that were violations of a series of House rules
and included obstruction of Congress,
the U.S. House of Representatives' Ethics Committee
said in a report released on Monday.

The Committee has typically not released its findings after losing jurisdiction in a matter. However, there are a few prior instances [4 known] where the Committee has determined that it was in the public interest to release its findings even after a Member’s resignation from Congress. TheCommittee does not do so lightly.
In this instance, although several republican Committee Members objected, a majority of the Members of the Committee agreed [bipartison agreement] that the Committee’s findings [about trump's #1 choice for US Attorney General] should be released to the public!
