is vegas back from covid 19 ??

yesterday my local casino was packed (santa fe station). i hear the rest of the casinos where busy hopefully the tend continues

The vaccine gives the public a false sense of hope. That and the fact that the people are tired of the lock down and don't really give a f*ck any more. The deaths that occur from Covid-19 are uncommon but then again, I wouldn't want to find out the hard way..  I've had people around me, (family, co-workers, friends) get it and the majority of them survived. It was only 1-2 that had serious complications and passed away. I'm guessing the public is willing to take a chance that they'll be in the majority that can fight it off rather than live in seclusion and fear... 

I live in Pennsylvania and for today's Saturday forecast, it's sunny, warm and not a cloud in the sky. I also just happened to finish my 9 AM morning routine of running around and getting some groceries before everybody else gets up and does their grocery shopping. As I'm driving back and forth from location to location, I can steadily see the traffic building up at the intersections that go into the shopping centers/grocery stores, people walking outside and in general, just in a good mood. It's spring and people are NOT going to stay inside due to covid-19 fears, especially with today being so nice. It really does look like people are not giving a f*ck anymore...

 Chances are if you’re obese, if you have aids, or if you’ve had six heart surgeries and perhaps you may pass away from it and that’s IF you get it. Other than that some Robitussin and Vicks vapor rub right on your nut sack.

COVID; I don't believe lockdowns worked very well, data seems to support that. When covid goes down Mich. gov says "you are following my instructions, good job" and when covid goes up, like last Oct., "your not doing what I tell you". Pure BS. just my opinion, sure others disagree.

We may be able to slow it a bit (at what cost) but it still takes it's course. And, sorry to say IT AIN'T DONE YET. Mich., New York, New Jersey, all on the upswing again! (all lockdown states) Look at Poland and the Ukraine for example; https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/poland/

 Like you I live in Vegas. I've been here 41 years now. Outside of last year, this is the worst March Madness ever. I work at a local casino and we were busy, but nothing great. At least we were busier than the SB. 

Not sure the vaccine has anything to do with being busy. Not everyone has taken it (including me). I think the fact that our Governor has opened things up more has a lot to do with it. As far as the vaccine goes, if the next strain different than the first, the vaccine won't be of much good.

 Need a mask and buffets are closed. Not sure on the pools. if they are open, I'm assuming only a small amount of people can use it at one time. 

Are casino's smoke free??

As a non-smoker I love the fact the masks are prohibiting smoking in MI casinos. Mask haters don't hate me!!! 

I'm not a mask advocate and don't believe in govt. mandates, businesses decide!

 hmm.... experts are predicting 70% will have been vaccinated by the end of summer so herd immunity SHOULD kick in good sir.. we are already at 100 million vaccinated in USA... the Biden administration is working to get everyone vaccinated including children(moderna is doing a study as we speak)...
