And saved millions, possibly billions of lives. Everyone should get vaccinated. People like to compare covid to the flu. Well, I like to compare the vaccination process. I haven't had a flu shot since childhood, close to 30 years ago, but I have had them. I think it helps kick start your body's own ability to create antibodies and self immunize. Now, there has been countless variants of influenza since then. And i'm out and about, in bars, on trains on the way to work, and your body is getting a work out against a familiar foe. We just don't have the same exposure to corona viruses, especially the more deadly SARS-CoV variants. Your body is facing a foe it is ill prepared to battle. Of course there are some of us doing it the natural way without even knowing it. You get exposed without ever showing symptoms. Your body beats it without you even knowing you had it but come on people. Vaccines are our friends. I respect anyone for waiting, and even abstaining, but come the fuck on. What about small pox vaccines? Are they bad too? What about malaria?

I won't be vaccinated anytime soon so either so I get it. My parents are fully vaccinated though. My sister had it and she still went and got vaccinated and I get that as well. My other sister has big anti-vax energy and doesn't plan on getting it and that's cool too. My only issue is people who are clearly letting political affiliation dictate their stance on vaccines.

I was in Vegas weekend before Valentines Day.... That Thursday was so so, people about....Saturday night, it was packed... had a fantastic time, as it was my first time. At one point, Treasure Island (can't recall Friday or Saturday), around 11am...must of been an easy 2 hour+ wait for check in

Not really. All that time is usually locked up in clinical trials. With that said, yeah, you're right. Emergency approval means we don't know what might arise in a year from now. Two.

I bet about 20%+ of the US population probably had Covid at some point and were Asyptamatic and have Antibodies already... Really the only reason I was concerned about Covid is because of elderly family members who were at high risk. Now that the elderly have been vaccinated...I could give a rats a$$ about Covid...

Yeah. That's why it's not for everyone. And I respect anyone for abstaining on that basis. Like I said, i'm in no rush myself. My parents were though and I respect that. Everyone has to make their own choice. I just hate seeing so many choices tempered by politics.

And that doesn't mean I think AA or Uni's feelings are tempered by politics. I'm speaking in general, not about anyone in this thread.
