"The economy, stupid" is a phrase that was coined by James Carville in 1992. Carville was a strategist in Bill Clinton's successful 1992 presidential campaign against incumbent HW Bush.
Bush started a ground war in Kuwait and had a 90% approval rating. As the economy tanked that turned into a 65% disapproval later that same year.
If the economy is in the shitter and the cost of oil and food is extreme — Democrats have no shot. Nobody cares about abortion one way or the other — the issue doesn’t move the needle. Republicans know this from fighting Roe V Wade for the last 40 years and Democrats are about to find out.
Democrats were hoping the 1/6 panel was going to draw a much bigger audience before the midterms but they’re finding out that nobody cares.
What do people care about? The economy, stupid.

Sorry I had to, no one of consequence is watching that shit, nor gives a shit about it.
Trump is glued to the screen ...but I am with you no one of consequence or relevance...
Wait till he isn't charged with nothing by doj.... They recommended and the Don isn't indicted....the department of justice does nothing
Oh the humanity.....lol
Every competent prosecutor knows why Garland and the Department of Justice have not indicted Trump. I’m going to say it out loud.”
“If Trump were charged, it’s unlikely he would negotiate a plea deal. Instead, he would go to trial and make every step of the process a platform to cast himself as a victim of a vindictive Biden administration. He would use the renewed attention to spew lies about the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election. And he would raise money, lots of money, to fund his anticipated 2024 presidential campaign.”
“But most important, despite a mountain of evidence that would convict most people many times over, Trump would not be convicted. Criminal convictions require a unanimous verdict. On a 12-person jury, there are going to be Trump supporters.”

We need to stop creating wars to constrict supply of commodities we have global warming and that's enough to contend with.... We don't need more unwanted humans placing greater demands on supply chain issues we can barely feed the population we have.....
And that is part of the reason why the manmade virus was unleashed..but I am sure you fell right into the trap because it sounds like you are alligned with everything the state controlled media tells you.
Anyway, if you haven't figured it out by now, global warming is just another way for them to trick you into thinking the Establishment is doing something for mankind. The truth is, if they cared then they would stop major corporations from polluting the Earth but the dirty money from Wall St always trumps the right thing to do.
Liberal or conservative don't matter, only money does and it is ruining our world.

At first I felt the higher temps during the dinosaur reign. Was being closet to the sun in our continued expansion.
But it seems the sun its self fluctuates in temperatures.
A small few degree the degree is the key between ice shelf at the polls and rapidly advancing water rises.
This coupled by now a even more uselezs term astronomically high and low tides the lunar model put a tides at a plus or minus 25 feet. Beginning now and through. 2045 this will reduce coastal lands and increase the coast line. And then mega snow storms bringing a fresh round of glaciers last glacier effecting us was called the Wisconsin glacier. This back and forth is natural and not man made.
Pollution is man made. And I agree with the rest of what you stated. The chemicals were are creating and unleashing is directly impacting life expectancy...
But to look to the establishment for help no I don't believe that unless they are helping themselves to our resources.....

Global warming is real.
However it is not man made.
Our sun goes into warming and cooling trends.

The Establishment knows and has known that anthropogenic aerosols (like burnt fossil fuel) accelerate global warming. However, they won't stop companies from polluting unless Wall St pays them to make a policy to do so. These manmade pollutants are killing people they know, poising our drinking water and ruining this beautiful planet. How unfortunate that none of them have the balls to stand up to big business and create a policy for the benefit of mankind and not a financial reward.
It makes me sick.

IMO, money is power and the craving for power drives the whole thing and demand for goods. If the US shutdown the major corporations, and they have over the years to some extent, the corps move to Mexico, China, etc. Pollution continues just in a different place. Air flows across the globe, plastics found in artic ice, no place to hide.

I agree money is power. It's amazing what you can do with a few bucks put into the hands of people that can make things happen to your benefit. A simple example is giving the car valet a few extra bucks when you arrive at a place so your car is kept very close to the entrance. You put even more money in the hands of the maitre d & you get a great table for dinner.
Multiply those bucks into something you REALLY want to happen & it's like magic...it happens.
Money always talks.
