Denny’s Early bird special has a dress code now???
@Doja45
You would know better than me. We don't allow crap restaurants in our town.
I suppose Denny's is a high class establishment in your neck of the woods.

Rise above don't let uncle Rico rattle you.....
Maybe you should come to foxwoods up here in the Northeast. Money talks absolutely but you could recharge... Connect with your roots and enjoy yourself....
Yes tips matter.....

Will be hitting Soaring Eagle & Gun Lake & maybe Firekeepers before we head home in early October.

Oh c’mon Middy it’s all fun and games. I’m going to be in Detroit at the end of this month. Make the drive over and I’ll take you out to a nice dinner my treat. I’ll wear my best shirt, it’ll even have sleeves I promise!

Soaring Eagle big but really generic. Full of slots, a little video poker, very little keno.
No smoking was nice.
Prefer video poker games like Quick Quads, bonus wheels, etc. Not finding them there anymore.
Cleopatra 4-card keno and maybe some of the new IGT Bullfroging, DaVinci Diamond, and Wolf Keno. Soaring Eagle has none of these games as of late May.

I’ll be out their for a funeral/family reunion. I’m born and raised in Ca but both my parents are from Detroit. I’ll have 2 nights to screw around and the other 2 I’ll be up in Troy. Might have to check out the mansion if I have time. Tigers are in town that weekend so I’m definitely catching a game

Greektown has some great blues/jazz clubs if you plan on the casino during the day. The MGM is your typical large casino that raises minimum table wagers on Fri/Sat nights. It's not a place you want to walk around after 11 pm but I heard there's a 24 hours Denny's near.

1983, wife and I go to Tigers games several times. Seats easy to get, had box seats next to dugout on third base line several times. Took nephew and he got a foul ball. Cool.
1984, invited father-in-law to game on May 12th. A former minor league player before WW2 he was excited to go. Tigers on big win streak to start season, seats harder to come by, we were on first base line next to Right Field. Having a great time the 7th inning stretch comes. Wife says, "Honey, go down to ticket sales and get more tickets for another game!" Ticket booth was right behind us so down I go. Line is short but the jerk up front is asking about every future game!! Then I hear the crowd roar. Damn I missed something! Finally I give up standing in line and return to my seat. What happened I said. Wife says Oh, Reggie Jackson hit a homerun up there, pointing to the right field upper deck. BIG homerun says my father-in-law. Only after I get home and watch the news do I find out Reggie hit it out of the stadium. DAMN, I missed it!!

IHOP is horrible lol. A couple of my guys love that place though. Last time I was there I was taking one of my employees to breakfast and I got the work truck stuck trying to get into the parking garage. Pipe rack couldn’t make the clearance. Had to deflate the tires and back it up. Embarrassing

I hear ya but there are solutions. For example, if we simply banned any plastic containers from being sold in the USA then that would be a great start. It wouldn't make a difference where those companies moved if they want some US dollars they would have to conform. Unfortunately Wall Street would never stand for that because it would take money out of the rich guys pocket.
Wall Street is the root of all evil. Our food is another example why. The FDA is owned by them because our politicians took lobbyist money to change the rules and allow them to put "trace" amounts of cancer causing preservatives in our foods/drugs. All in the name of profit.
That's sick man. Cmon, don't tell me nothing can be done. It all starts with the people, but instead we allow Wall Street to create a divide between us (whether that is man/woman, red/blue, black/white, etc.) by censoring the media and not allowing us to hear the awful truths about them.
We all know what is right or wrong and if we had these conversations and started pointing out how the elites got so rich, by poisoning our people and the planet, instead of fighting over their tactics (played out on the 24/7 news cycle) then we would be able to shine the light on them and begin to solve our pollution problems... and get rid of the evil doers, who know they are poisoning us and our planet just to enrich themselves.

I agree with the plastics, and I use too much plastic water bottles myself! Often times can taste the plastic in the water, that's not good.
But I also find everything causes cancer, especially in California. I bought a slab door and cut my own door knob hole to match the existing frame in my house. Door had a California warning label telling me sawdust causes cancer in California. Good Grief! Have a relative with lupus, they received money from Monsanto even though they may have used Roundup once in their lifetime if that. So many times, IMO, a bit blown out of proportion. And I live rural, have several deer that visit my property, one has two obvious tumors on it's belly and side. Part of life it seems. Sooooo, I am not buying all the cancer causers because mice were fed 10 lbs of the stuff. Everything in moderation.
Add mylar balloons to the banned list. They cause power outages and I've found them everywhere it seems.

The consumer price index rose 9.1% from a year earlier, the largest gain since the end of 1981, Labor Department data showed Wednesday. The widely followed inflation gauge increased 1.3% from a month earlier, the most since 2005, reflecting higher gasoline, shelter and food costs.
41% of the money supply has been printed since Biden took office and Joe Biden started a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.
Democrats are now saying that the amount of money we will send to Ukraine is “whatever it takes”. We’re already around $60 billion American tax dollars.
