You're comparing balloting for an election to a vote to unionize? First of all, Bezos can't say all voting must be in person. That's not his place. That is literally counter to what a union represents. Second, union votes are always in person. I don't get the correlation to an election to the goings on at Amazon.
Long nite stu, my apologies....amazon in Alabama....workers there want to unionize.... here in ny you get proofed when go to vote... not as hard for government fed local state... point is this... in Alabama, with covid , mail in voting allowed... it struck me funny that bozo now all of a sudden says mail in can be fraudulent and that voting has to be in person...he loves that cheap labor....
I didn't know that Bezos himself took a stand on mail in ballots related to the election. I know the Washington Post did. If he did and his statement is contradictory to this current stance (it might be), please post it.

What i'm getting at is that even in Bezos took a stand on mail in balloting, which I never saw and do believe it happened, it wouldn't be his place to dictate if and when a vote to unionize would happen, nor how that vote was to take place. Union votes are always in person though. What details do you have to provide on this story b/c it all seems very convoluted.
On this note, I am not clear what the posters are referring to on hypocrisy.
I do think it would be problematic for them to require the union vote to be in person, not withstanding that they usually require such votes to be in person (and actually, one can thank the teamsters for that).
But in all honesty, I would think Biden would welcome the ballot voting as he would be looking for States and unions to implement the Federal wage requirement (which I opposed btw, but that is for another day).
People were against mail in voting yet we had it and has caused a lot of problems.... bozo , big time democratic supporter, donor, soon if not already the ruler of the world ,has a store in Alabama.... his workers want to vote on becoming a union shop.. (good for them).... with covid some want to mail in vote... I thought it was comical that bozo said he wanted a "fair and valid" vote and should not do mail in votes....
Scooby. Check out the H.R.1 bill. The dims want to automatically register all illegals to vote when they register a car with their state DMV. The bill also legalizes nationwide mail in voting and removes the photo ID requirement nationwide.

You see, gamble, in the real world you have to back up the things you claim. In the internet world, you can make baseless claims, twist facts, and spread all out falsehoods and they are like embers in the wind. Usually they just die out and turn to dust. Sometimes the start fires. So one should be careful. Do some research on what has occured in CA and NV? What does that even mean? What are you claiming has occured? And what evidence backs up said claims?

Just google "Loopholes that allow illegals to register cars with the DMV".
When you do that, you will find articles from virtually EVERY state explaining what has been going on in our country for the past 18 months. I am not going to argue why an illegal would want to exploit a loophole to register a car in the USA, but it is happening.
The fact is many illegals are on DMV roles and the numbers are expanding. So, while it is still IMPOSSIBLE for an illegal to register to vote directly, H.R.1 will automatically register all names on DMV roles to vote in the USA. If you do not see a potential problem with that, I can't help you further.

So many states have policies that register you to vote when you register a car. Oregon is one of them. And some states have loopholes that allow you to register a car as an illegal but you would still be ineligible to register to vote. S.R.1 doesn't change this. You would still have to be legally eligible to vote. The loopholes that allow illegals to register cars (in California it's not a loophole) are simply because they are here and they are driving. So to protect the citizens, it's makes sense to have them able to obtain insurance. None of this grants illegals the ability or right to vote.
....but they are being registered to vote. The states where this is happening calls them "glitches".
So what are your thoughts on removing the valid photo ID requirement to vote? ....and nationwide mail in voting? Both of these are included in H.R.1.
There are SO many problems with the H.R.1. bill that they are too numerous to list, but there is NO DOUBT that it opens the door to more voting fraud.
Usually when someone says "....they are too numerous to list..." it's not very numerous at all. If it was, whatever those hypothetical things are, they would just list a few. You listed two and asked my feelings. I'm not for removing ID requirements. I support Real ID. I'm not against mail in voting, as long as we sure up the process.
