Putting words in my mouth and then say I was crying when I used this emoji- .
You fellas, or gals, have a right to your opinions. I'm telling you what I think.
And the racism card is played. Right on cue. That Uniman and all those republicans hate illegals not because it is actually "illegal" and not because it is a chaotic mess hurting everyone involved, Oh no, it's those racist republicans! hating the color of their skin!!! Amatuer hour anyone?? Nevermind the governors of major democratic cities are screaming like hell and getting no response, nevermind the ones who scream the most get raided by the FBI.
It's those hateful religous repubs!!!

Eww,that's a pretty lame ass comeback. That's all you got, saying someones putting words in your mouth, and complaining about emoji's.
I didn't say the emoji you used was crying.I was pointing out that you are constantly crying and complaining about things. You know always crying about witch hunts,or about the fact that 90 indictments is to much.Like because he's facing 90 indictments, they cant be true.
I'll give you a grand to point out where I even mentioned anything about republicans being racist in any of my posts.Talk about having to resort to amateur hour, you are spewing shit in a rant about something that I never even said.
I wasn't putting words in your mouth when I said "You must be admitting that trump is guilty".I was just going on the fact that the words "innocent & immunity" were never even mentioned in any one of your posts on why an "innocent person would need absolute immunity" as a defense,if they were indeed innocent.8 posts by you in this thread and not once do you even try and say he's innocent. It's your lack of never even implying or using the word he's innocent,as to why I thought you were admitting he was guilty. You never say he didn't do it,you just cry that it's unfair that he's being punished, for doing it.Using the defense that somebody else supposedly did it and isn't being charged,is basically admitting trump did it.You even stated in post 4 '"He would have to promise to pardon both trump and Biden of any wrongdoings".Do innocent people need pardons? That comment alone sure sounds like you are admitting he's guilty of wrongdoings.

I’ll clear it up for you . He’s guilty of many things . That we know about and also that we don’t know about . And I’m pretty sure that the people you disagree with about illegals are more upset that they are “ illegal “ as opposed to to them just being good old fashioned racist scumbags . Don’t gloss over that . Also people in this forum “ attack “ and “ complain “ in many different ways . Both blatant and subtle and nuanced . The same people that dodge the first stone cast also pick that motherfucker up and lob it like a hand grenade . Yes I know the way I’ve described things is much too difficult for some to understand so I apologize for the lack of interpretation on your part in the way that I translate things . I’m still getting accustomed to your language .

"King Jamie" telling the peasants and serfs about why Donald J. Trump will return as POTUS....
"I don't like how Trump said things, but he wasn't wrong about those critical issues. That's why they're voting for him. People should be more respectful of our fellow citizens," says CEO Jamie Dimon. "I think this negative talk about MAGA will hurt Biden's campaign."

Dimon is the worst, talk about a Max Headroom schmuck, he will play whatever side gives JPM the best deals and returns FED interest rates lower so he can make millions being the CEO.
Jamie is such a putz..cant stand bank execs who think they have intelligence in political topics. Its like back in the 90's and 2000's where the GE CEO was constantly interjecting himself on all/any topics of the day.

Jack Welch ?? Now that is a name I haven't heard in quite some time....
So you've shared your opinion on King Jamie and Jack Welch.... now how does that matter with regards to the accuracy of what Dimon said, while speaking at DAVOS, interestingly enough...
Bigger question for you....."what happens when Trump wins the election?"
Does "democracy" immediately die that night? Are millions of illegals deported or moved into camps the next day? Does the DOJ turn a 180 and imprison all of Trumps political haters?? Genuinely interested in your take on what happens when Trump wins next fall....

It tells me what I already know, the GOP voter is more interested in their religious biases and narrative than how awful any candidate is. Trump is a pathetic disgusting user and as I mentioned in the other thread he is not at all religious or conservative, yet your party is vindictive and forceful of your personal agenda more than considering what is best for society.
Nothing like a selfish extremist society, what a sad commentary that you support and cheer for a low class fraud like Trump.
Counter:
All Trump voters are not "MAGA". How many votes did DJT get in the last election?? Those aren't all MAGA but the stigma that has been misappropriated towards them and other moderates has only fueled this 2024 run...
Trump voters vote for him not because they are casting an extremist or a contestation vote (although some undoubtedly are) but simply because they support his policies. This is where US liberals are way more undemocratic than the unlikable Trump. They despise his voters, dehumanize them and if given the chance, would flirt with stripping them of their voting rights no doubt. They (MSNBC / CNN) are already acting like Soviet Media by censoring the front runner of a US election by refusing to broadcast his speeches. Think about that for a second, and about what it means for civil liberties in the US under these Maoist absolutists.

To get the DNC vote you cannot be an extremist who is combative and is an isolationist, I dont see how he would get enough support. If he were with the GOP yeah he fits the mold much better than the DNC. If anyone likes Joe or Kirsten then invite them to the GOP, both would get more GOP votes and support than DNC using that logic.
Joe Manchin is an extremist?

My comment was that Jamie loves to be the center of attention and speak on topics he has no reason to just because he likes to be a big shot, same goes for Jack. I used to get sick having to watch Jack run his trap all the time in the same way I get annoyed when Cramerica runs his mouth on political topics.
Point was Jamie is no more valuable with his commentary than you or me and its annoying how the media gives attention to someone who has a business title.

@StumpTownStu Joe is an isolationist to his party, that is why he would not be successful running as a DEM and why he is not really affiliated with the party.
Pretty sure you said extremist. Not isolationist. We need more "isolationist" in politics. We need people willing to break party ranks.

Oh I meant that too relative to his PARTY, very much so. The issue was him as a DEM candidate, that was my reply and reference. As a DEM candidate he for sure would be seen as an extremist to the party collective. Same way Sinema is seen as an extremist and is leaving politics.
I dont have an opinion on him regarding his positions or views, the only remark was about that I feel he has no shot as a DNC candidate due to his being an outsider, extremist and an isolationist to the PARTY.

can’t wait to hear you twist this one so i must ask.
bank executives have no right to have political thoughts? What about pro athletes using their “platform” to talk about politics? What about peaceful protesters for example BLM who undoubtedly come from all different sort of job titles and backgrounds? I don’t get it honestly, if you’re someone of a certain professional background you don’t want them to have any political ideologies? Doesn’t seem very democratic to me

Pro athletes don't have politicians in their back pockets. And while there are some politicians that coddle protestors, they don't have politicians in their back pockets either. For all the money that poured into BLM, there is no BLM lobby to influence politicians and legislation. Bank execs,on the other hand...

I understand your point on this but to say their political views don’t matter is absurd. Maybe we should have elections for Bank execs….or maybe we just need a whole new government system altogether.

Eww,and here I thought your 1st comeback was fuckin lame. You are better off sticking to Charlie Brown quotes, and crying about emoji's,and making stuff up that people are calling you a racist.
The difference is in your example these people were found guilty and were pardoned after that. Why would trump beg for absolute immunity and need to be promised a pardon,if he was innocent and before he was ever found guilty of the crimes?Unless he knows he did the crimes and is going to be found guilty.Innocent people want to go to court to be proven innocent, and to let the world know that they didn't commit any crimes.A guilty person would be the one begging for immunity from his crimes, and trying to arrange a pardon, even before he's ever found guilty of said crimes.
You now have 9 posts in this thread and still not once have you said 1 single word saying trump is innocent of any charges he's facing. You are still just crying that he is facing any charges.C'mon guy at least come up with some ignorant comment (lord knows you are used to doing that) about why he's innocent. Can't you come up with one single bull shit excuse as to why he isn't guilty, trumps thrown out about 10 different bull shit excuses you could use (he declassified them by thinking about them real hard, they were planted there,he has a right to have them cause they are his papers, they must of got mixed up with some of his clothes) as to why he's innocent. Can't you at least throw 1 of them out there when you are constantly trying to defend him from everything.Saying nothing in somebody's defense looks pretty bad when you are trying to defend him on here. But that's exactly what trump and his lawyers do every day in and outside of court. The old "witch hunt" defense only works for awhile.

Jack Welch was not, and Jim Cramer isn't, the head of the most powerful banking cartel in America a la King Jamie. His commentary may not be any more or less valuable than yours or mine, but that doesn't matter because our opinions are not listened to by the audience Dimon has.
Like it or not, King Jamie is one of the most powerful and influential people in the world. His political / social / etc. statements or feelings carry exponentially more weight than any other public figure who may wish to share those thoughts with the entire world....
You can downplay or dismiss what he said but that doesn't change the fact that him stating, “Trump was right about NATO, immigration, the economy… Democrats need to GROW UP” was seen and heard by all of CNBC's audience and is now being replayed daily as "pro Trump" propaganda. Don't be so quick to dismiss this impact.

I hold Jamie in very low regard for many reasons..one being that the FED bailed him out in 2008 for the better good, yeah that was super awesome. Jamie would be shilling a hedge fund if it werent for the FED. And Jamie has gutted his consumers with excessive fees and unfair practices, they were just fined the other day yet again for abuses and there is no recourse for him or Wells or Citi or any banker. So no Jamie is not special and in fact he is lucky to have a job with the reckless leveraging he allowed, and is allowing now.
JP and most large banks are sitting on two massive bombs in their asset base, and the FED again is bailing them out right now under your nose. JP has exposure to CRE and treasury leverage...look it up its right there in black and white. JP uses the FED and their slush fund to navigate their leverage, they are playing shell games with write downs on mark to market. If JP were to write their assets to market value in both treasuries and commercial loans they would be in SERIOUS trouble. No I hold zero regard for the silver fox leverage king, but you are welcome to like him since he runs his mouth about political stuff...me I will put my sights on higher value targets in who I respect.

You are getting it twisted, as usual with me.....
I simply shared what I considered "something surprising to hear on CNBC from someone who holds the position of power that he does". I am not talking about influencing Joe Schmo (as to Raidah's point in the previous post), I am talking about the MSM influence and the "propaganda storyline" that will come from him airing such a position through the MSM.
Other than your attempted slight of comment on "liking him", Everything in your post is 100% on; the '08 history, the current reality facing our banking industry, FED slush fund etc. He is like an extension of our government in how he operates with Yellen and JPOW. Just like though with Elon, your personal feelings on someone I really don't care about as I do not share that same "holier than thou" attitude you like to portray around these parts. I do not share these posts because "I like these people". I will continue to share information that I feel is interesting for whatever reason. That may be for shiits and giggles from time to time but for the most part it is to share the "outside" information or thoughts that are different from the same old monotonous partisan talking points in this sub.
"The EcONoMy iS gREat" message we get daily from the Covers clown crew that operates in this cesspool sub YOU just blew up by sharing those truths about what is really going on in the underbelly of the US & World economy. You should share those truths more often instead of enabling the ignorance shown throughout this place....That would be a contribution to helping society....

Sorry I cannot stand Jamie, its a sore tooth for me and I do not like when people admire others who are not deserving of that admiration and then when he speaks on stuff he has no business talking about bugs me even more. I waded through that mess here on Covers too, the bailout and bank stuff there were several here who partisan fought about that topic and tried to blame a political party in office for all of that mess. It was sticky because on the one hand I do not like bailouts and especially to jerks like Jamie or any bank exec but on the other hand corps are 100 miles in front of regulators and the government, they were able to leverage and cheat for excess profits for a LONG TIME, right under our noses and they cheated via corrupt auditors and rating agencies and yet some partisan doobies on here were blaming Obama and the democrats...sheesh what a joke.
Even now banks are gutting the consumer, taking cash from the FED risk free and leveraging like monsters. Banks havent been banks in a very very long time and certain big mouths just bug me to pieces, Jamie being one of the top on the list. Who cares what that cheat thinks.

No need to apologize, I agree the guy is scum but there is no denying his apt nickname, "King Jamie", as he gets away with whatever he wants and essentially runs the banking cartel of the World. Yellen and the rest of the crew are his puppets. Governments and Politicians are NOT the top of the food chain in the power heirarchy of the world.....it is the Jamie Dimon's and Larry Fink's (and those very few that influence them) that run the world.
Might have asked you before, but have you read the book, "Lords of Easy Money" ? Great read, should be required in H.S. curriculum.
