Texas officer fired for
unlawful shooting of Black man

A white police officer charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Jonathan Price
in Wolfe City, Texas, was fired on Thursday, city officials said.

Wolfe City officer Shaun Lucas was "terminated for his egregious violation of
the City's and police department's policies," a statement from Wolfe City said.

Lucas was charged with murder earlier this week.

The officer was responding to a report of a disturbance and a possible fight in
progress Saturday at a convenience store in Wolfe City when he shot Price
four times in the torso.     Price was not armed.

Price, a 31-year-old Black man, was intervening in a domestic dispute.

But  when the government has worked to combat extremist anti-government groups --
which even his own FBI says present the most pressing threat to the nation --
Trump has at best  ignored the efforts,  and at worst used them to fan the
very resentments held by the groups' followers.

I hate to be prejudice but doesn't Shaun Lucas just look like a racist cop. There are some forked up cops in Texas.

This man that was murdered was 1 of 1,500 residents in Wolfe City, TX. The black community in this town is 2% which equates to 30 people.

I don't know anything about this cop or the man murdered but when the police in the community don't know the members of the community they serve, that's a huge problem.

In a small town like this people have reputations & from what I have read Mr. Price, the man murdered, was well known in the community as a good man who helped mentor young athletes.

How could this cop not know who this man was? Lives were ruined in a matter of seconds.

The so called "law and order" President has called upon AG Barr to indict President Obama and Vice President Biden for "committing greatest political crimes" in our history. So, AG Barr will follow the "law and order" from Pres. Trump?

Trailing in polls, Trump is desperate to deflect blame from his failures.  Being unable to hurt Biden, he attacks other people instead.  In interview, attorney general said he won't be indicting Obama administration officials.  Apparently, justice department don't want to lose legal cases.  Obama administration is among the most scandal free administrations in decades.  In contrast, Trump has so many associates indicted or convicted for crimes.  In a corrupt organization, he surrounds himself with crooks and liars.  

Also Barr refuses to release information about legitimate Russian probe before election.  Previously, Trump promises to put Hillary Clinton in jail.  But years of investigations found nothing which could stand up in court.  According to Center for public integrity, Trump administration loses vast majority of lawsuits.  Unlike past administrations that normally win most of their cases.
