On Buzzfeed, women reveal why they are voting for Harris. Everyone else on the ballot is unhinged. Trump and Vance ticket is terrifying. GOP has lost its way. Women deserve the right to their own bodies. Need to ensure future generations have more freedoms rather than fewer. Top priority is electing a sane person who will govern US with dignity. Harris is the most qualified. She has empathy and compassion. She is not playing to exaggerated fears, hate, racism, sexism or tribalism. She is a positive, intelligent and proven leader. She is not a convicted criminal.

The effort to meet comes weeks after Kennedy and former President Donald Trump met in person during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where the two discussed a possible role for Kennedy in a potential Trump administration in exchange for an endorsement.

BC, not arguing with your statement, BUT.... just wait until Kamala gives a press conference. Wait until she has to do ANYTHING without the teleprompter or scripted q's. It will be an epic shit show just as bad as Biden's current medical induced shit show incompetency.
When this happens, if Obama gives the OK for her to do ANY press without the media training wheels on, I will look for you comments and intimate review of her performance....thanks in advance

The proposal from the Harris campaign “is the only proposal that I’ve seen that directly addresses the concerns around the supply of housing,” said Joe Brusuelas, principal and chief economist at RSM US.
“There’s going to need to be a concerted effort on the part of the federal, state and local governments to increase supply, because we’re about 3 million homes short.”

Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday revealed her plan to help make homes more affordable
CNN -
The plan, which builds on proposals that President Joe Biden has already announced, promises:
• Up to $25,000 in down-payment support for first-time homebuyers.
• To provide a $10,000 tax credit for first-time homebuyers.
• Tax incentives for builders that build starter homes sold to first-time buyers.
• An expansion of a tax incentive for building affordable rental housing.
• A new $40 billion innovation fund to spur innovative housing construction.
• To repurpose some federal land for affordable housing.
• A ban on algorithm-driven price-setting tools for landlords to set rents.
• To remove tax benefits for investors who buy large numbers of single-family rental homes.

Lanhee Chen, director of domestic policy studies at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University and a past CNN opinion contributor who worked on campaigns for Republicans, including Utah Senator Mitt Romney, agreed that adding supply was the best part of Harris’ plan.
“There’s bipartisan support for repurposing federal lands for construction of affordable housing, and the concept of creating the right tax and economic incentives for builders to construct more new housing,” Chen said. “There’s no question that these ‘supply-side’ reforms are long overdue.”

I regard Lanhee Chen as a good 'ol Reagan tradition Republican, am pretty much respecting Chen. Not surprised that former Pres. Obama has nominated Chen as an adviser on the Social Security policies.

That is an interesting development, particularly if anything fruitful comes from it over the next month or two! He might be a reasonable moderate voice in her new admin.

I strongly disagree with that viewpoint. While this NPR article is from 2023, its research is consistent with the present - RFK Jr. is still an anti-vaxx conspiracy theory weirdo.
