Kamala is legit. Coming from the Bay Area, she's been on my radar for years and i've been saying an eventual presidential run is almost inevitable for quite some time. I thought it would be 16+ years from now but hey, desperate party, desperate measures. I think they're grasping at straws and not doing her any favors. At some point in the future she could actually win but she's not gonna win in 2 years and once she gets that "L" on her record it's pretty much a wrap. She should stay in her lane and run when it's her time. If the party can't come up with anybody else then what does that say about them.

Obviously i'm a fan of Kamala Harris. Yet even to me, she is a viable presidential candidate. Not now. Democrats are running around hollering about "Blue Waves" and they can't even field a decent candidate. Not that Harris isn't decent just waaay before her time. It's desperation. And it really shows how out of touch the party is. A handfull of people at the top have this ideology that they are forcing on everyone.

And if you think about it, the democratic parties ability to come uo with a decent candidate goes back further than that. If you think about it, Obama kinda came out of nowhere and saved their arses in 2007-8. They were trying to push Clinton then. Obama come in, black dude, charismatic, he was the anti-Hillary. He saved the party. Before that, Kerry was decent, but before him...Gore. Need I say more? The party's problem is it doesn't listen to it's constituents. Doesn't listen to it's base. Some how, the most exciting thing to happen to the party since Obama was an old je wish guy. And rather than embrace that groundswell of excitement, what do they do? "No! It must be Hillary!" Bernie was an old nutjob. I'm not saying he was fit to be president but i am saying the people were speaking by backing him. Trump is an old nutjob too. Nutty like a fox.

LRM, Oprah is not the reason Obama got elected. I think you give Oprah waaaay to much credit. Especially 2007-8 Oprah. Even at the height of her popularity, she wasn't getting anyone elected President. W. Bush had as much to do with Obama as anyone in the exact same way that Obama had as much to do with Trump getting elected as anyone.
As far as the worst President, history will show. I'll say this. He wasn't as bad as his greatest critics will have you believe nor as good as his greatest supporters would have you believe. Personally, I think W. Bush was a much worse Prez but the same could be said for him. All these guys are mediocre, Trump included. Clowns to the left of me would have you believe he's Lucifer. Jokers on the right would have you believe he's Jesus. He's neither. So far he's done some things I really like and some things I really hate. He's not even a quarter through a presidency that will probably go two terms and all we've really heard about is russians and porn stars. The media is a joke. And so are this extreme brand of partisan politics that everyone subscribes to all of a sudden. It all serves to divert our attention.
Guess we'll have to check with the heads of the DNC to find who they wish to anoint this time. 2016 was a national disgrace that the fix was in for HRC and that didn't get the exposure it deserved, of course due to the liberal media not being interested in such a third world country parties actions... They got nothing, no rising star like BO on the horizon that can read a speech like no other. The country is rolling good now except to everyone on the looney left that sees racism in a bowl of salad. We're all broke up about the border crashers families being separated. I love Sheriff Joe's idea of putting our military in Mexico a few miles from the border repelling this b.s. until a real wall can be a deterrent.
