most likely yes....but if you have followed the case then you would know the appeal process is set up to back Rittenhouse defense even further. The actions of the prosecution throughout this trial will be the groundwork for any future defense appeals failing. Appeal it all you want, state or defense, the appeals courts in this matter will NOT have jurors making decisions. It will be a judge or panel of judges looking at the LAW and FACTs. There will be NO appeal process that ends with Rittenhouse in prison. This is not an opinion, this basic law and common sense.

If he gets acquitted based on self defense, people don't go out and loot and riot and destroy businesses and then so called vigilantes won't have a reason to go out as well. People just let the justice system have a trial by jury and play out the way it's tired. Just curious if you know the crime rates of the cities and towns that were destroyed by the riots aka "peaceful protests". You know, the cities that pushed to de-fund the police. Kyle Rittenhouse, in an unusual move, was allowed by the judge to draw the slips of paper that determined who would decide his fate and who would be dismissed as alternates. That task is usually done by a courtroom clerk, not the defendant.

First of all, it was a joke. Lighten up there Francis.
Secondly, go back in this thread & you will see I tried to engage Detox when I said the judge was an embarrassment. I gave him a number of reasons why & he came back comparing him to Joe, our President. In fact, you responded to the msg I sent to Detox & agreed this case would be appealed no matter the result. So much for not engaging in the discussion.
The kid got a gun illegally, came into another county looking for trouble (as evidenced by his need to have his AR), was not asked to protect any property & killed 2 people.
I believe/support the 2nd Amendment & that laws are followed in the acquisition of any firearm.

He wanted to clean up graffiti (which he didn't do), put out fires (which he didn't do. In fact, he dropped the fire extinguisher he was given) and protect businesses (there weren't any cars on the lot he was supposedly protecting & the owners didn't ask him to do so), against the violent left-wing mob of child rapists, wife beaters, and career criminals (the only thing he knew of the people that night was that he was ready to kill them).
