I'm not interested in debating politics on a sports-betting forum (or any forum, for that matter :) ). I'm more interested that everyone behaves like the adults they are alleging they are, and keep things respectful, debate the policies, debate the candidates' merits or lack thereof, and stop making every. single. freaking. thing. personal, and openly insulting each other on a personal level. But everyone seems so entrenched in their "teams" (heh - I guess that's fitting for a sport site...lol), no one is actually interested in exchanging ideas or listening to one another. It's all about headlines and talking points, "I'm right and you're wrong", "you're a horrible excuse for a human being because you dare to have a different view than me", blah blah blah, etc. etc. It's akin to just shouting at a brick wall and expecting it to answer you. Not a very productive use of anyone's time, in my opinion. (And please understand, I'm referring to literally everywhere on the internet - not just here.)
All that to say, I just have one piece of advice for you guys when it comes to political threads: Keep it classy, people. :)
