They just voted on a revamped bill but 38 Republicans voted against it. The vote was 174-235.
Per Chip Roy (T-TX) said this bill would have added 5 trillion to our debt within 2 years. The POS immediately responded by saying ..
“The very unpopular ‘Congressman’ from Texas, Chip Roy, is getting in the way, as usual, of having yet another Great Republican Victory — All for the sake of some cheap publicity for himself. Republican obstructionists have to be done away with,” the POS posted on Truth Social.
In a subsequent post, the POS-elect said he hoped “some talented challengers are getting ready in the Great State of Texas to go after Chip in the Primary. He won’t have a chance!”
I hope someone on the right will come in and share their views on these comments/threats.
