Maine Congress passed a budget the governor vetoed now they are on recess. till january if a special session is not declared. and governor shut down every thing but law enforcement , state parks dmv policy compliance dhhs , everything is suspended till a compromised (that dirty word in politics ) can be reached so if you have plans to visit maine, make preperations if you using state park system.
and if you live in maine well the government will not be open.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is doing a similar thing..

well after the devestation to our tourism industry caused by the governor.
citizens from all over the world descend on our park system this weekend. they save sometimes to experience what in our back yards katahdin , sebago lake state park offers camping. well parks are closed. these people paid for those spaces months ahead and had to last minute make other acccodimations on our busiest friggin week the maine tourism industry is unrepairably harmed by this .
a suit dhould be launched against the state similiar to the amhi consent decree and the state should be held liable for the loss of business for circumstances beyond their control.
i looking forward to this as a gesture to why Governor lepage should join his family in florida and be citizens there. he does not represnt the maine people or the buisnesses he is a skrewed up pion and hope that the republicans never win another race down to town selectmen the lot here as whole has gotta go.
