 He has spent months teasing an ambitious list of measures he would take on Day One, including shutting down the U.S.-Mexico border, ending the Russia-Ukraine war, and pardoning Jan. 6 prisoners, among others.

Wow, were the last 4 years that bad for you Mugg? Are you not invested in the market? You have decent healthcare, right? I'm not sure if you are retired & receiving your Social Security. If still working, I don't recall you complaining about your job. I'm sure you are happy that we don't have our soldiers in active wars somewhere else around the world. Is crime that bad in your neck of the woods that you've been robbed or assaulted? Are your hurting in any tangible way? I'm pretty sure you are paying your bills & can travel where you want when you want. Are things really that bad for you? 

Life's been pretty good for me & my family. My wife's business continues to grow & be profitable. My kids have good jobs & my grandchildren are doing all the things kids do. Medicare takes care of my health needs & I can go to any doctor I wish. We are not afraid of transgender people & we stomach MAGA's because we all must get along with each other. We don't expect anything from our government that we haven't already earned & just want them to stay out of our way.

So Mugg, what's your beef?

  I'm doing just fine. I was able to retire during Trump's first term & am quite comfortable. My accts. have done great under both of the last two admins. My biggest beef? The costs of everything shot up much more under Biden. Price of goods/services will always rise, but my HIP's have gone up 400% in the last four years after meager 10-15% rises under Trump (I retired early & not on Medicare yet), my HOI has gone up, gas is still nearly twice what is was here compared to 4-5 years ago, crime has gotten worse but the lib judges here let violent criminals out with little/no bail........it's not me I'm worried about, but my kids.

I live in a dem-controlled state, even though most people outside the tri-county area around Seattle aren't libs. Like you, we just stomach them rather than leave. There's no income tax here, but sales tax is now 10%, & our property taxes, low by east coast standards, have shot up. Yes, this is a hot growth area, & my home is now "worth" 3x what I paid for it 18 years ago. But why then are many school districts here going BK?  I don't need/want any help, but I'd sure like it if my tax dollars were used wisely & not just thrown into a dumpster fire. We got the double whammy.......a lib Gov. that seemed to idolize Newsom, & a lib potus that didn't have a clue.

Glad you are doing well. I pretty much thought you were & didn't understand your negativity. 

From a military point of view I'm not embarrassed at all with Joe. I worry about the incompetence of the incoming cabinet & that concerns me greatly.

My biggest beef covering the last 8 years has been the limp dick Attorney Generals. Now Pam Bondi gets to keep the POS from getting his ass in trouble again. She was bought for 25k but I'm willing to give her a chance.

I don't know your property taxes but we pay 27k a year for our main domicile. But I'm OK with it because our roads/overpasses are being repaired, our canals are being dredged, our police & fire department are top notch, the library has been remodeled & property is maintained throughout the city. 

I'm sure we'll chat again over the next 4 years & we can discuss whether promises made by the POS ever come to fruition. Looking forward to him ending the war in Ukraine next week. 

MAGA in DC have been told the POS "ordered" the inauguration to be held inside. Who knews it's always cold in DC during January?

They can't afford eggs but they can travel to DC. The MAGA sheep are getting fleeced again! Geneticists were flocking to DC to study the genetic degeneration. They will never have so many subjects in one area again. This is just the first of many disappointments to come.

 27k for just property taxes?  Does that include school taxes also?  You must have a nice property.  There are some properties with those taxes up here but they're lakefront on the Finger Lakes or Lake George and even Champlain.  I am about to pay my property tax end of this month as I don't escrow.  It's about half of what school taxes are that's due in September.  the town I am in tax at 64% assessment, but we moved from a 100% assessment area, it make a huge difference.  Are you in Florida?

There is no reason to ask muggy that question because the answer for the majority of magas is they hate everything and are mad at the world. They just want to do the opposite. If a person says yes, they just want to say no even if they know yes is the correct answer.  I would say trump getting back into might be the wake up call for these magas to realize people like trump are never gonna help to make your lives better. Hes only gonna make his life better.   But this will never happen because magas love voting against their own self interests.  I guess magas feel great when going to bed every night knowing they helped a guy like trumpy be able to make his dreams come true.

Sad truth is the majority of the magas out there are exactly like trump and have the same types of hate in their own bodies.  They have always been around us, they just kept their hate bottled up until trump basically told them its okay to hate.  I would say these people might skate free here on earth and will have to pay the price to God, but even thou i was raised Catholic and believed in God, i have lost faith in this belief.  So i dont think the magas like trumpy will pay for all his sins. Trumpy will escape justice once again.

In other news trump said 620 million acres is all the oceans combined lmfaooooooooooooooooooo.  This is the ass clown that is now gonna be the leader of Our Country again.  Magas dont give a shit that trump is a nit wit, cause they probably thought the oceans only added up to 619 million acres

Yes, we are in Florida & my wife corrected me this morning, as she tends to do, that our property taxes are 22k not 27k as I previously stated. The 27k was the cost of our property insurance that was offered & we refused to pay because we don't have a mortgage. Instead we chose to fortify our home with a new roof, hurricane protected windows, doors & garage & accordian shutters for the patio area. This year we raised our seawall 6 inches as the tide continues to rise each year. Our taxes are put to good use, so no complaints here on the cost.

For starters, JD Vance is not someone who should be one Big Mac away from becoming our President. He lacks any substantial governing experience & at least Sarah Palin had led/governed a state. 

Marco Rubio changes his opinion on topics far too often for my liking but he may end up being one of the POS' better selections. At least he hasn't become a multi-millionaire while serving our country. But I believe he'll enter that category in the very near future.

Pete Hegseth served as a soldier but that alone does not make him a leader all of a sudden. I won't get into his drinking & infidelity issues but his "warrior mentality" is not needed in the Pentagon as those roles have already been filled. I believe he's unstable & easily manipulated.

Doug Burgum is a billionaire from an oil rich state that is perfect for the POS's promise to drill baby drill without considering the climate issues associated with this process.

Howard Lutnik is another billionaire buddy of the POS who will be charged with the tariffs the POS has promised. He wanted to be the Secretary of the Treasury but settled for Commerce which is not his expertise. He has no experience in trade but will be promoting crypto to make the POS happy.

RFK should never hold any government office.

Linda McMahon & education should never be in the same sentence. She will push the privatization of schools just like Betsy DeVos. She has no background in education & is another billionaire with a rubber stamp.

Kelly Loeffler knows nothing about small businesses & I wonder when the last time she's used a small business. She's another billionaire that has never been elected to any position of responsibility.

Doug Collins served 2 years in the military as a Chaplain & will take over Veterans Affairs. Prayers are not going to fix the issues veterans are experiencing in the country. 

Lee Zeldin has no environmental experience but plans to head up the EPA. When in Congress he voted against environmental legislations.

Russell Vought believes the president can withhold spending approved by Congress & he will be faced with cutting the number of federal employees & government spending. He didn't get it done in his 1st try in the previous POS administration.

I won't even bother with Kristi Noem or Tulsi Gabbard.

I was a guest at Mar A Lago 3 years ago & the burger was flamed broiled, dry & burnt on a stale bun. The lettuce was wilted & the tomato was an odd shade of green. But we had plenty of catsup available.

I don't think the POS was there at the time. Well, at least I didn't smell him there.

They are agents of his contempt.  He attacks any person or institution that tries to restrain his worst impulses or hold him accountable.  .He likes to hire the unqualified because they are easier to manipulate.  But experience matters in a big and complicated organizations.  Problem is inexperienced people are more likely to make mistakes than leaders in their fields.  They don't know enough to be able to fix something if fixing is needed.  Mismanagement of important government functions can be catastrophic.
