Andrew Abdullah, the convicted felon that shot/killed a NYC subway rider, had been arrested 19x, had open cases against him pending.......& the judge let him out on $1 bail.
Of what use is a law if not enforced? Shouldn't these judges, & in some cases, prosecutors, be held accountable for NOT doing their jobs?

If I recall right, Sacramento CA had a "mass" shooting that left a handful dead and a dozen injured. Did this story ever hit MSM? I don't think so. Because if it did, they would have had to highlight that the shooters, yes, multiple, had been arrested a few days/weeks earlier and released. These judges and DAs need to be held accountable for these early releases and low bail releases for the super violent offenders. The Sac shooters were arrested for possession of guns/machine gun (illegally). People are the problem. We need to fix people.

Well yeah, but it needs to start by getting those in positions of responsibility to do their jobs. I don't GAF about covid issues or overcrowded jails or the optics, a crime requires the apt punishment. If you don't wanna be there then don't commit crimes that put you there.

Also tired of people saying "WeLl LoOk At CaNaDa yadda yadda". People need to realize the US has over 300 million people, 10x more than Canada. California alone has more people then Canada. Land mass is pretty much equal and the US has 10 times more people. Of course the US is going to have more crime/ violence, it's numbers people. If you space people out, numbers get spaced out. That's why large cities have more crime, there's more people. Stop with the comparison nonsense.

I like Canada........some beautiful areas west of the Rockies & nice people, but I don't see people fighting to get into Canada. In fact, I have two good friends that hail from Canada but live here now & while they go back to visit relatives, they're not planning on moving back. When I ask them why they simply shrug & say "life is better here".

This is per capita, the USA's violent gun deaths (3.96 deaths per 100,000 people) in 2019 were 8 times higher then in Canada (.47 deaths per 100,000),the UK has 100 times less(.04 gun deaths per 100,000) violent gun deaths then the USA (3.96 deaths per 100,000)and again that's per capita,it is numbers people.

When you make a mistake in a position, there are usually consequences. In a 1st offense, perhaps you get a warning whether it be verbal or written. If there is a error reoccurrence, most are put on notice that improvement is necessary or it will result in termination.
These public servants should have their performance rated like everyone else. The scumbag in question has been arrested 20 times previously. Chances of him doing something else against the laws of our country were pretty high.

To answer the question, YES!

I don't either. I spent time in three different states, not California, in the time when that story was going on. Saw it carried on the local news in all three states, as well as on network nightly news, which would qualify as MSM. Now if by MSM we are talking about CNN, then I couldn't tell you if they carried the story or not. That isn't really news though. CNN and Fox or both magazine networks. They resemble news. They aren't real news networks though

Can not remember the last time I turned on any news outlet. I always get a bad feeling when I watch that crap and I don't understand how people put themselves through watching "news". If it makes me feel bad, I imagine I'm not the only one and I don't want to carry that feeling around. I think that's why everyone hates each other nowadays. People are uncivilized and I think media/ "news" has the agenda to spew negative shit because that draws ratings and they are in business for ratings and not "news"
@THEMUGG I agree. I don't see people rushing to move to Canada like they are to the US. So maybe the US isn't so bad after all. Just get ride of the idiots and we'll all be good.

Why? Because the government allows it. Think. They can track purchases to the point of sale. Everyone who buys a gun must pass a fbi background check. Then and there. If someone's buying a shotgun chances are it for home Defense. Someone buying a 30-30 a couple boxes of bullets and hunting license chances are he going deer hunting. If someone buy an ak. Or an AR -15 with 5000 rounds chances are we have to keep an I on him.... What the little punk up to attitude......
Nobody can buy an AK, or AR-15, without a Federal Firearms License, which isn't easy to get. No kid or random ne'er do well, or even potential active shooter, is buying 5000 rounds of .223. The last few times I bought .223, I paid about 46¢ a round.

Huh?
For shooters looking for a gas operated semi-automatic .223, it's hard to go wrong with a name like Smith & Wesson. These sporting rifles are infinitely customizable and come with a ton of great features to start. As you can guess from the name, this gun comes with two M-LOK aluminum picatinny rails already included. It has a carbine-length handguard, a picatinny top rail just waiting for a red dot or other optic. It also has an adjustable front post and folding Magpul rear sight. This rifle also features six-position adjustable stock to help you adjust the fit. This gun takes 30-round magazines, although Smith & Wesson do make California compliant models. The 16-inch barrel has a 1:8 rate of twist.

That's not an AR-15. An AR-15 is a select fire assault rifle, chambered in .223 Remington, manufactured by Armalite in the '60s. It is the civilian basis of our longtime service rifle, the M-16. The .223 round being the basis for the 5.56x45mm NATO.
What people call "AR-15" rifles are just AR-15 "style" rifles. They lack select fire and therefore are not assault rifles.
I swear, I hate to sound like one of those, "...but Chicago..." guys but illegal select fire switches for Glocks are easily obtained, easily installed, and are wreaking havoc in hoods all across America. You put tits and a switch on Glock and now you really do have an assault weapon. There are mini-Dracos modified with select fire in hoods all over America. Civilian AR "style" rifles are not the issue.

Pretty sure there are quite a few vets out there who would continue to serve their communities to fill these positions. Heros.
There's gotta be something in the budget, right?
