If you were rich and connected privately diagnosed bone spurs would keep you out of the draft. They would not however prevent your walking down the street to a church for a photo-op. Surprised he didn't need a golf cart to get there.

Mathis,Kelly and Kerry were lucky they were not afflicted by heel spurs at the time of enlistment ..because the US Army list heel spurs as a cause for rejection into military service..and they would have never had had the opportunity to serve in Vietnam..

The following was on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace.
Retired Admiral Mike Mullen, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs explaining why the citizens of DC did not need the protection of the highly trained soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division while consciously wearing a purple tie.
You can not possibly make this up on your best day!

The 'peaceful protesters' in Chicago this past weekend shot 85 people leaving 24 dead!
This was a very violent weekend in Chicago following the Leftist riots as Dems shout to the mountain tops to defund police departments!
I guarantee you that you will be called a racist or Uncle Tom if you do not want to eliminate the police!

What neighborhood is that? And in what city? Don't leave home without it, if you know what I mean.

No, they didn't. "Peaceful protesters" didn't shoot anyone, dead or otherwise. IF 85 people were shot dead in Chicago this week end, how many were shot by rioters (who are not peaceful protesters) or in regular street gang fighting and turf wars? I would venture to guess this is a statistic you do not want to delve into. Chicago, with or without protests, is one of the deadliest cities in America. Gang shootings and killings are rampant on a GOOD day. Please extract your head from where the sun don't shine and get your sh/t together. Adding to the "Law and order, shoot them all!" argument is not going to take the country in a productive direction. Neither are false, misleading or inflammatory statistics.

The company doesn't allow employees to wear firearms even if they have a foid and conceal and carry license. But they do provide armed security.
I'll be in parts of Garfield Park, Humboldt Park, Albany Park and Logan Square.
You won't find any news crews on the ground.

News of interest this morning reports that things are (again) heating up between North and South Korea. Communications halted. Apparently Kim is upset over some flyers he claims the South is distributing up North. True or not it would seem to be the regular, historical action of Kim to be upset about something. Perhaps President Trump can help out here with another love letter, which we have not seen noted in quite some time. I know he is a busy man these days, what with the Coronavirus, sinking economy, approval rating falling like a bowling ball off a tall building and peaceful civilian protesters at his front door; but we all know "Hell hath no fury like a lover scorned". With so much going on I sympathize with his plight, but I sure would appreciate it if he takes a few minutes to knock out another love letter and calm things down a bit.

Mostly gang violence and looters.
This morning at around 7:30am I found an over dosed white man who looked to be 50+ years old in an alley, in a predominantly black neighborhood. We thought he was dead. The first cop on the scene told the owner we might have a crime scene until the guy moved a bit and moaned. I swear to you guys this is 100% true, no bs. The sad thing is everyone who witnessed it wasn't disturbed one bit. Just another day in the hood.
It's tragic. I wish the man recovers and cleans up his life.

In San Francisco, literally twice in my life, i've stepped over a homeless guy wrapped up and layed out in street while walking from Bart to work only to come out like 30 minutes later for a cigarette and see the guy getting body bagged. There have probably been more times than that but only two where i've literally come and seen the guy getting loaded up. Also saw a lady get killed by a city bus. Completely unrelated but pretty forked up. Lady was just out for a morning jog. Hit her and ran over her a bit. She was splattered. I know CPR and all but she was clearly done for. The other guy who stopped grabbed a packing blanket from his car and covered her up. Too weeks later, even though the street had been washed, you could still see the outline of the pool of blood. Like the oils seep into the streets. It was very upsetting. I've seen a guy get hit by a BART train as well. And i've seen a friend get shot and killed. You don't unsee any of it.

Now that I think of it, i've seen two people killed by BART trains. By the 2nd time it happened I had become do desensitized to death that I just simply exited the station and caught a cab. I was crazy tired and was more upset by the inconvenience. I don't even feel horrible saying it. Same with stepping over bums only to find out they were dead. It's so everyday. Even seeing people get shot. That jogger though. That will stick with me until the day I die.

The whole Bay Area. It stands for Bay Area Rapid Transit. It's like the NY subways or Chicago's El but with fewer stops.
