Remember, in the general election campaigning everything will be on the table and open to attack. There won't be any "old news" or "ignore that" exceptions. DJT will have to stand on his record as opposed to belittling or castigating Barack Obama. It will be open season on everything he has said and done for 3.5 years. If I were his campaign manager I would be concerned about that.

What Trump does stopped surprising or shocking me 3.5 years ago. What will probably happen is we will never get an explanation from the Republicans for not coming down on him at least 50% of the time. The rumor was that his "handlers" could keep his baser instincts in line, but he just fires his handlers. The only safe jobs in the West Wing are Jared & Ivanka and they don't know diddly-squat except to back up daddy and do as he says.
