I'll tell you another thing. You really farked up by continuing to harass me. I know that Covers is a huge part of who you are & I confided to another forum member that once Trump loses in November, I wouldn't hold you to the bet we made about leaving covers. I was going to let you slide so you could stay. 

If you remember, I have said at least 5 times I wouldn't be spending very much time in this forum after the election because Trump will be gone and I hope our country would come together under a new leader & administration. 

But now, I have to reconsider whether you deserve to stay after you lose our bet. You can act cordially with me or you can choose to act the way you have been. Former Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) ignored the position of AG Barr on the issue.

“I don’t care what the attorney general says on this IG thing,” Grassley said. “We designed IGs to be very independent.”

Barr has proven he can't be trusted with the power already given to the AG role. 

The school board of the Oakland Unified School District  kneeled and licked the shoes of  the radical Left and the BLM movement by voting to abolish it's very own police force on Wednesday night!

Is this the same group of geniuses that thought teaching the predominantly black schools in "Ebonics" back in the '80's or '90's would help the kids learn? The idea was that they would learn quicker and more thoroughly in their "native" language, i.e., ghetto street jive. Great, they would be smarter kids when they got to college, the work force or military; they just wouldn't be able to communicate with the people in charge, like  professors, supervisors, or trainers and officers. I believe the Cal. Dept. of Education slapped their hands on that stupid idea. Talk about "a mind is a terrible thing to waste", that had to be the epitome of educational stupidity. 

They have no plan to handle the 1,000 calls per semester & they have a contract through 2022.

The city will replace the current 10 officers with 14 city officers who will need training dealing with these students.

The school board has until the end of the year to develop a replacement plan. The planned changes and others to be determined are being made to improve the safety per the school board.

We'll see how things work out. Change just for the sake of change isn't the answer unless a concerted community effort is in place including buy-in from parents of students IMO.

Same school district. The idea never got any traction. It was just kicked around. Same school district that had to be taken over by the state. At times it is one of the worst school districts in the country. Likewise though, at times OPD is one of the worst police departments in the country. Long history of contraversy. Police have been getting a bad rap but my heart doesn't bleed for OPD.
