Trump is withdrawing his nomination for former U.S. attorney for D.C. Jessie Liu to serve as the Treasury Department's undersecretary for terrorism and financial crimes, a top position overseeing economic sanctions, according to two sources with direct knowledge.
Liu was confirmed in September 2017 to lead the largest U.S. attorney's office in the country, overseeing a number of politically charged prosecutions that included the case against Trump associates Roger Stone, Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort and other spin offs from the Mueller investigation.
Liu stepped down from the U.S. attorney's office last month after Trump announced his intention to nominate her to the Treasury position in December 2019.
Liu was expected to stay in her position through her confirmation — with a hearing before the Senate Banking Committee scheduled for this Thursday — but was unexpectedly informed last month that Attorney General Bill Barr was replacing her with his close adviser Timothy Shea.
She was informed that Trump was pulling her nomination Tuesday afternoon.

Liu is offered a "promotion" so Barr can install a crony, Shea, in this key law enforcement position. She accepts and departs the office. Now, with the pulling of the nomination, Liu is unemployed. If I'm in Congress I would want to speak with this lady.
Recommend an unjust punishment against Stone and use it as a weapon.....So, Barr and the DOJ have to act and in turn make them and DT look like the bad guys....Then, use this as an exit strategy from sinking the ship and the Mueller cases.

Jordan was accused by Adam DiSabato, who was the team captain in the late 1980s and early 1990s. DiSabato was appearing in front of a hearing in the Ohio legislature as a witness for House Bill 249, which would waive the statute of limitations and allow the OSU athletes who had been abused to sue the university.
DiSabato told the House Civil Justice Committee that several team officials, including Jordan, were aware that the team’s open shower facilities put them at risk of being abused and harassed by a team doctor, but did nothing about it. Then DiSabato detailed a phone conversation between him and Jordan, in which Jordan asks DiSabato to help him cover up wrongdoing.
Jordan’s name has already come up in this scandal numerous times. When the news broke in April 2018 that Dr. Richard Strauss had been accused of sexually abusing over 150 OSU wrestlers between 1978 and 1998, Jordan denied knowing anything about it, despite being an assistant wrestling coach from 1987 to 1995.
Jordan continued to deny having any knowledge of student sexual abuse even after independent investigators released a report in May 2019 that concluded that Strauss, who had been employed by OSU’s athletics department and student health center until he was suspended in 1996, abused at least 177 male student athletes and patients. Strauss died by suicide in 2005.
A spokesman for Jordan called DiSabato’s accusations “a total lie.”

DiSabato also said Jordan called him repeatedly in July 2018, after media outlets quoted his brother, Michael DiSabato, saying Strauss’ abuse was common knowledge to those surrounding the wrestling program, including Jordan.
“Jim Jordan called me crying, groveling… begging me to go against my brother…That’s the kind of cover-up that’s going on there,” he said.
“Are you guys going to do what you’re voted to do?” he told lawmakers later. “That’s the only reason I’m here.”

In fact last night in NH, 21k Republicans, roughly 18%, went to the polls and voted against Trump even though they knew it was a lost cause. If this continues country wide, it will not be a lost cause.

It is estimated that when all votes are counted in NH, turnout in the Dem primary will exceed the record number of votes cast in 2008. At minimum, there will be 295,000 votes cast in Tuesday’s Democratic primary. In 2008, 288,672 votes were cast.

Between 2007 & 2012 her jewelry business, Madison Avenue Diamonds LLC, lost 19 million. She was sued by vendors including one vendor for 3.2 million. They settled on 3 million to paid in multiple payment which at a later date Ivanka reneged on the deal. Her CFO has been called as a witness as their is a claim the company sold fake diamonds as well. You can put lipstick on a Trump but in the end, it's still a Trump.This case is before the NY State Supreme Court.
Her business partner, Moshe Lax, is accused of evading 62 million in taxes in a separate civil lawsuit. Is there any honest person in this Trump Family orbit?
