The DOJ has closed investigation of Feinstein, Loeffler & Inhofe trading practices but are still investigating Burr probably because of Trump's petty retribution.
It could be the case, Midnight1. And Feinstein (D) might not be off the hook by Barr's DOJ, if she were the only one.

South Korea has 55 million people; the U.S. has 350 million. But how did South Korea manage to contain its death toll? Medical experts say South Korea immediately shut down the country, engaging in massive testing, contact tracing, social distancing & face masks. The U.S. waited. Trump didn't just wait. He purposefully denied and delayed.
Purposefully ?? Or maybe because the Asian countries had already gone through this in the past w/ SARS & MERS, and were better prepared. How is Europe fairing ?? How is Brazil fairing ?? You act as though the challenges this country is facing is different from other Continents & Countries.. They hadn't gone through this before in living memory, just like the U.S.... So, quit acting like a pompous ass.

The Indian Health Service acknowledged on Wednesday that 1 million respirator masks it purchased from a former Trump White House official do not meet Food and Drug Administration standards for “use in healthcare settings by health care providers.”
The IHS statement calls into question why the agency purchased expensive medical gear that it now cannot use as intended. The masks were purchased as part of a frantic agency push to supply Navajo hospitals with desperately needed protective equipment in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
Zach Fuentes, President Donald Trump’s former deputy chief of staff, formed a company in early April and 11 days later won a $3 million contract with IHS to provide specialized respirator masks to the agency for use in Navajo hospitals. The contract was granted with limited competitive bidding.
The masks provided by Fuentes “are not approved by the FDA or covered by an Emergency Use Authorization for use in healthcare settings by health care providers,” the agency said.
Fuentes charged the government $3.24 per mask, which is higher than the pre-pandemic rates for respirator masks and far higher than prices charged for masks that can’t be used in hospital settings.
Drain the Swamp my ass. Fools in here bought this Trump bullshit & continue to do so. Don't forget your shots of bleach before bed tonight boys.

In 2020 the country has the chance to throw some real scumbags out of office. Today's scumbag is West Virginia Governor Jim Justice.
In the last 4 years, Justice and his company has been ordered to pay $10 million to vendors, workers and government entities. Even after winning judgments, plaintiffs at times have sued him again to get what they are owed.
Last September Justice lost a $35 million ruling regarding unpaid royalties on coal. Last month this scumbag was found personally liable for $6.9 million for unpaid fees in a Virginia shipping terminal. This POS billionaire just doesn't like to pay his debts.
At the beginning of his term as Governor he pledged to turn over day to day operations of his businesses to his children but has yet to do so. Sounds familiar huh?
With the primary scheduled for June 9th, Justice has moved to settle some major cases including delinquent mine safety penalties. This prick has even been sued by his own lawyers for non-payment. Sounds familiar huh?
In recent years, several plaintiffs have argued that Justice, his companies and his family operate what amounts to a complicated corporate shell game, moving money from one part of the business empire to another, all to avoid big debts, costly liabilities, even fines. Sounds familiar huh?
Why put up with this scumbag West Virginia?

The Texas Supreme Court has ruled against those who would like to cast mail-in ballots in order to avoid having to go to crowded, public polling places to exercise their right to vote.
And it did so remotely.

Rush Limbaugh praised the president for being "clever" in sharing conspiracy theories: “Trump is just throwing gasoline on a fire here, and he’s having fun watching the flames.”
WOW....and this douche was given a medal?

Larry Kramer passed away today. He was a man whose voice would not be silenced. He told the country that we were being ravaged by AIDS when so few would listen.
Many looked at him as being a loudmouth and a troublemaker. But he spoke for so many who didn't have a voice or better yet were too afraid of using it. Being "outed" was a fear that millions dealt with every day & still do today.
Kramer wasn't a smooth talker but rather a "in your face" kind of guy. He challenged the gay community to come out of the closet, be proud of who they were & ridiculed the medical industry and the government for ignoring the thousands that were dying.
The world needs people like Larry Kramer. We need people who are able to galvanize millions in a common goal. And we have plenty of goals yet to be achieved...homelessness, hunger, race relations, addiction. Don't be a spectator in life.

Trump's newly promoted 2020 campaign chief of staff was arrested in Oklahoma in 2016 and charged with conspiracy to violate state election laws after police seized her then-boyfriend's phone in a cocaine bust.

Why do people loot and torch businesses in their own communities in protest? That stuff hasn't worked for decades.
Community leaders will say those folks were from outside the community. If that's the case, the "community" could/should have stopped these outsiders from destroying their town.
A business owner shot and killed a looter in his pawn shop & I applaud him for protecting his stuff.

Among the accomplishments Donald Trump parades most proudly is that he has won 18 golf club championships. Like so many of his claims, this one is pure bullshit. When the sportswriter Rick Reilly investigated for his book Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump, he found that 16 of the claims were transparently false, and no evidence existed to support the other two. In one instance, Trump said he had won a championship at the Bedminster, New Jersey, club he owns, even though he was in Philadelphia on the day the event was held.

Mark Zuckerberg has a pair attacking Twitter for fact checking Trump.
Zuckerberg outsourced that process to the Daily Caller, founded by Tucker Carlson, giving them unilateral authority to fact check any post on Facebook.

A federal judge on Wednesday delayed the trial of Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, two associates of U.S. President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, on charges of violating campaign finance laws to Feb. 1, 2021 because of difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Donald caught a break with this being delayed until after the election.

Do bystanders have a moral obligation to intervene if they witness a cop killing an unarmed man?
This very question goes against everything we’ve been taught about respecting authority.
The way it is now, people would get arrested for "obstructing" justice. Bystanders were alerting the police that the man could not breathe. Other than getting physically involved, what more could they have done. I'm sure they are asking themselves that question.
I wish I knew the answer. Mr.Floyd didn't deserve to die for a bad twenty dollar bill.
What do ya'll think?

The Trump administration cowardice is in full view with their failure to release a mid-year economic forecast.
40 million unemployed, bankruptcies, home foreclosures etc will become more and more obvious the closer we get to November.
Trump's thinking is if he doesn't tell his base they are out of work, they won't realize it. Now instead of his V-shaped recovery that would "take off like a rocket ship" it looks more a pending disaster.
His willingness to withhold economic information that inevitably will come available just buys him some time. The truth will tell the story.
I wouldn't be surprised if WH staff refused to produce phony numbers. Trump's "rosy future" is pure bullshit. Transparency my ass.
The market isn't the economy. But but but....look how high it is. The concentration of wealth is just becoming greater and greater.
Come November this POS will be humiliated, his taxes will come to light soon after, his banking fraud and other financial dealings will expose him further. And his dumb farking base will ask, who knew?
