To them, yes, the twice-impeached Insurrection-inciter - who has now been criminally indicted - is above the law.

Way to cherrypick Bill's argument. I watch Bill's show every Friday. On the same show, Bill also said that the stronger case Trump should be indicted and convicted of is trying to to rig the election in Georgia by trying to convince a Georgia official to find "11,000" votes in his favor. He frequently argues that this attempt alone should disqualify him from any public office. I agree Bill is no dummy but don't try and cherrypick his whole stance to fit your pro-conservative Republican narrative. Yet you claim you are "neutral". No you are not.

House Oversight Committee has subpoenas out for Biden family banking records. 

Bank of America, Cathay Bank, JPMorgan Chase, HSBC USA N.A., and Mervyn Yan, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, have all received subpoenas.

“Given his antics with the first bank subpoena, the American people and media should be asking what information Ranking Member Raskin is trying to hide this time. No one should be fooled by Ranking Member Raskin’s games. We have the bank records, and the facts are not good for the Biden family.”

The subpoenas to the banks will hopefully provide clarity to investigators with information about the financial activities associated with the Biden family. A subpoena could reveal more evidence of suspicious transactions, financial irregularities, or other potentially incriminating information that could be used in this ongoing investigation.>

Yes, you are correct.  But what about after he leaves office.  This also applies to politicians in other positions that are not as protected as POTUS.  

My biggest point with all of this was that pandora's box has now been opened and anyone on either side of the political aisle is now an open target for real/justified or imagined prosecution.  As I said from day 1, it is a slippery slope, be careful what you wish for......

 Thinking along the same lines,then hasn't every citizen of this country during their whole life been an open target for real/justified or imagined prosecution.Anybody can say someone committed a crime,then it's investigated and if there is evidence of a crime,charges are filed.If there is no evidence of a crime,that person isn't charged.That's the way it's been for everyday citizens,so it's not a "pandora's box",it's just the way our laws work.Why is it opening a pandora's box if we hold a politician to the same rules as every other citizen of this country.If a politician is guilty of a crime,should he not be held responsible for his crime,just because he's a politician?

Politicians are almost all crooked as shit, and that includes politicians on both sides. Open up that box for all I care. Hold people accountable. This Trump bs is somewhat of a farce in my opinion. It's root is still an extramarital affair with a porn star, in Vegas, before he was president. I mean, isn't what happens in Vegas suppose to stay in Vegas. So I think this trial is kind of a joke but make no mistake about it, Trump has done far worse in his lifetime. You don't make it to such a position of power and /or wealth without some unscrupulous dealings.

Yep!   Nobody is above the law............except trump........apparently........until recently.......but we shall see if he escapes justice once again....... Everyone, including sitting presidents, who violate our laws - civil or criminal, should receive LEGAL negative consequences. Period.  This could include Joe Biden, if proven guilty.  So be it. 

I give no quarter to criminals.  And especially NOT to traitors to our country.

I hear you, yes that is a good way to put it in explaining your point   It still goes back to the partisan weaponization of justice system for me.  If the NYC DA wasn't a leftist political pawn do you think Trump would have been indicted?  No, of course not.  Does that mean he "shouldn't" have been indicted?  No, it doesn't mean that either.  Trump is running for POTUS though so he is the political opponent of the regime that brought on the indictment.  If Trump wasn't running for President then the regime would have no reason to target him and we very likely would not even be having this conversation.  

But if we are going to start using partisan DA and DOJ appointees to go after political opponents then we must be ready to accept the repercussions from those moves on both sides of the aisle.  I mean, it's a done deal already so I guess we are all along for the ride here on out.  Good talk

 Okay,what about the case in Georgia,where it was a republican SOS who recorded the phone call that may end up leading to charges.So then it isn't the party of the political opponent,their both from the same party.Or how about this,don't have the candidate running for political office,commit crimes.And he wouldn't have to worry about which party the DA is from.Funny I don't remember the republicans crying about going after a political foe when they were investigating Hillary time,after time,after time.Just looking for some dirt on her,then it's fair game.Now that it's trump,their looking to change all the rules,and want nothing to do with law and order.I guess that's what happens when your party is lead by a conman and criminal.

 I agree Stu there aren't many if any honest politicians.But there are some that are 10 times as bad as others.This case from trump isn't all that serious (certainly not his worst crime),but it isn't a farce,if he committed the crime,let him suffer the consequences.You said it yourself "hold people accountable".If it was you or me who did it,it would still be a crime,because he's an ex president doesn't mean it isn't a crime and that he shouldn't be charged,or that it's a farce.It's root is in a extramarital affair,but that's not the crime.The crime is taking the money from where he took it from,and how he did it,and how he reported it.That's what the cheap ass dummy is having problems with,not that he did a porn star,or that he had an affair to begin with.I believe all he had to do is take the money from his own money,and he wouldn't have any legal problem whatsoever with what happened between him and Stormy.But of course the cheapskate crook couldn't do that.And it certainly doesn't have anything to do with the city where the act occurred,and what that city's tourism slogan says (I'm pretty sure you were kidding about that).
