There are increasing discussions in the EU of joining the US embargo on Russian oil.

It may not happen as an EU bloc, but individual countries might.

It looks like Germany is switching to gas from Qatar. 

Canada is ramping up production to position themselves as a top alternative.

You're right baish2012, it probably won't occur on a massive scale as I would love to see.  But it doesn't need to.  USA and Germany is a good start, but even a handful of other significant countries refusing to continue to purchase oil from Russia, including from any third party resellers which would still profit Russia, would be sufficient to start the Russian economy freefall and collapse.

Weekly jobless claims fall
to a nearly 53-year low!

Just 187,000 people in the United States filed for initial
weekly unemployment benefits last week, even lower than
economists' expectations of 210,000, according to data
released Thursday by the Department of Labor.

The last time the weekly number was that low was 1969!
