America's services sector grew at a record rate in October

CNN BUSINESS -
The good economic news continued for the services sector,
where economic activity grew at a record rate for the fourth
time this year, according to the Institute for Supply Management.

The services purchasing managers' index rose to 66.1% last month,
better than the 62% economists had predicted.

“Demand shows no signs of slowing," said Anthony Nieves,
chair of the ISM Services Business Survey Committee.

portman did have some very complimentary words about the biden admin efforts in this to help repair america from the recent 4 yr disaster  

He praised Joe Biden  as is justified.

Hoyer making an excellent speech on the House floor in condemning totally unnacceptable behavior of Paul Gossar and any others in the future, including Democrats who might similarly transgress!

House Republicans - with notable exceptions of only Kinsinger and Cheney so far - are arguing in favor of allowing unnacceptable behaviors depicting VIOLENCE against another in speech, print, or tweet.

This is setting up to be akin to GOOD vs BAD.

Will be interesting to see just how many (and who) votes for BAD. (ie, choosing to support the dark side of "the force")

Republican Charlie Dent just made an interesting observation,

that republicans in the trump party (GOP) are actively working to censure and strip committee assignments from republican rep John Katco BECAUSE HE VOTED FOR the very popular American Infrastructure Bill.

But they will NOT vote to censure racist Paul Gossar - whose disgusting behavior depicted VIOLENCE against a Congresswoman of color and the current President.

That's republicans today for ya.

We need that American Infrastructure bill in the worst way.  The American public supports it.

Appalling to me that the vote which passed the measure went entirely along party lines.  It should have been nearly unanimous.

But the totally disgraced former president, adolf trump, is on record recently and continuing to this day, to denounce not only the American Infrastructure Bill (a thing he PROMISED to get done, but FAILED to do over 4 years) but also to attack those REPUBLICANS who voted in favor of it -  stating because it gave the Democrats/Biden a win! (not for any actual reasoning about the contents of the bill or the costs......nope......his reasoning was only that it gave the Dems a win.......and they can't "own the Libs" if they are given a win -- even if the overwhelming majority of Americans want the INFRASTRUCTURE!)

That's the trouble with congress. It doesn't seem to be about governing anymore, but just scoring political points to win for the sake of winning, having little to do with helping our nation.
