I played baseball in all of these Bronx parks during my teens. I remember Crotona Park very well. Now they have restrooms & benches. Between games, we would get a dirty water hotdog from the vendor outside the entrance to the park.
Great memories

How do you remember that?

Trump falsely claims to have done more for black community than any president since Lincoln. But impact of Lyndon Johnson's civil rights act and voting rights act dwarf any Trump legislation. Instead Trump uses race as a political weapon to appeal to the grievances of voters. He promoted misinformation about Obama's citizenship and Central park five men later exonerated for rape.

Funny how he forgot mention how he increased their taxes by capping the SALT deduction at $10k. Was it an intentional omission, or just another example of Donny’s dementia? Time for another cognitive test!

Also ditched the credit for higher ed costs, now it is some phase out scam named gig with an ultra low limit and a lifetime max. If anything has been wrecked by inflation for the last 30 years it is higher ed costs and with the Trump tax fiasco they forked the middle class for sure.

Both candidates need to retire for sure , but ultimately no one will ever be truly content as their will always be things to gripe about , with new men in control who will continuously betray us or let us down .
Maybe by the grace of God our future generations will break through from the slop and slime that they will inherit from us , with our weakling ways and subpar squabbling mentalities , and their evolutionary superiority to us will hopefully propel them forward into a better direction that will make this planet a better place to live our existences ,
Hope . Hope .

So are you saying that both candidates, and previous and future candidates, do not try to appeal to the same strategy? I mean, it's not uncommon for any candidate to appeal to other races or nationalities or genders in their campaign approach to securing votes....I'm just saying, if you think Trump is the only one doing this, what about all other previous and current candidates that will do the same....If you truly believe that rump is the only one doing this then that might say a lot about how you formulate such a one sided opinion...politicians scam for votes....it happens in every election, every time, and it will never stop....

Easily solved, don't attend if you can't afford it. Continued education is not for everyone. The real issues is, why is it so expensive to begin with if the idea is you want your citizens to have the chance to be further educated past high school....writing loans knowing people cannot pay it back also seems to be a habitual problem....my niece just received her masters degree and when she finished she has zero debt...she paid as she went along with multiple jobs and only received any type of grant at the community college level and none at the university level...so, it can be done. It's more of what you do with it than it is what can I borrow in hopes to pay back. Most students don't realize that it is actual debt and that it has to be paid back. If you are not handling your finances from the get go then you will be behind and the debt will accumulate for years and years, maybe a lifetime. This is done with the hope that you find a career path in the field you studied. How many actually work in the field that they studied for and accumulated debt for...or is it just easier to wait and see if someone will help you write it off and give you free education

The first time you wrote his name you spelled it right but then you put “ rump “ the second time . Just letting you know . I don’t disagree with what you wrote either . They all play their silly games , and now with A.I . in the fold it will only get worse . Other than that what I pointed out to you it’s a clean sweep . Wish I had a broom emoji right about now . Ya feel me ?

You’re correct . Not everyone is meant to go to university . Plus they immediately want to be CEO or some shit . It’s like they all want to be like what Cologero told Robert Deniro in A Bronx Tale : “ Don’t Get Mad at Me cuz You’re a Bus Drivah ! “
Naive and ignorant .
But the workin’ man ain’t a sucka . He’s the tough guy . No matter what some going bald mafioso with a fancy car door lock parlor trick to figure out who’s gonna be the next great one as far as girls goes in your life tells you .
best move that kid made in that movie was getting with that fine baby from the other side of town son . Home girl was fire . I just watched BELLY last night and she’s in it . Amazing .

Yeah I figured you made a mistake . Everyone does now and again . Like me for instance , I walked around for 3 hours yesterday with toilet paper stuck to my shoe , but the worst part is , is that it had a doody on it .
Yeah I know what you’re saying about the guys on here that write “ rump “ . It’s so played out . Like sundance writing “ you can’t make this stuff up on your best day “ or like me putting “ ya dig ? “ after I write something .
You feel me ?

I did the same thing as your relative, took a long route and did not have debt. My comment was not about student loans or debt it was about two things-
1) Inflation has wrecked higher ed and has for decades, much worse than CPI and some here are chirping regularly about how much food costs and rent costs and whatever else you can blame on Biden but nobody speaks about education and the multi decade ramp of inflation and the answer is not that you should not go if you are unable to pay, that is an awful answer. We as a society are better when we have an educated population and I am not speaking about liberal arts go nowhere degrees, there are MANY who get highly specialized and valued degrees that add a ton of importance for the safety and future of this country, education is not free loading lifers that it is implied here.
2) Tax credits FOR higher ed, I did not say writing off student debt interest I am speaking of credit for PAYMENT of higher ed costs, that means the money has been spent and it is not debt based. What is the issue giving a tax credit towards higher ed? It is not the only issue because Ive also stated my complaints about the stupid generals and how useless they are especially for a cost and the time spent that could be better used on core subjects, instead of two years on generals let someone get dual undergrad majors or have a minor be towards something that adds value instead of retread generals like psychology and world history that most take in high school.
Down here the moronic state of AZ allows higher ed to raise tuition 5% a year, that means in 10 years costs will be over 50% more, AND they have destroyed merit based scholarships so even the highest level of scholarship it only covers 60% or so of tuition and that is not books or fees or living expenses, it covers less than 75% of base tuition and that is for over a 3.75 GPA and over 33 ACT or equiv SAT score, so pretty tough to accomplish.
I wont go into my situation but my kiddo took every opportunity in high school to be prepared for college including AP classes and community college credit classes offered while in HS, got a scholarship and finished early with two degrees and will go forward for a masters degree next. Costs have gone up so much the state actually had to adjust scholarship awards to not completely lose pace with covering 60-70% of tuition. I consider higher ed costs to be deserving of a tax credit much more than others that exist including charitable contributions.

Libs/dems everywhere seem to be freaking out about the large attendance of this Trump rally. NY Gov. Hochul calling NY'ers "clowns" for attending, lib media saying people were bussed in......they're getting more desperate.

'Large'? The Permit was for 2500, not 25,000 as Donald says it was. Many out of state also. The pictures don't lie on this one. Wildwood NJ was around 30,000, not 100,000. No libs/dems are freaking out about it.
Bigger picture... this is what people are touting/arguing about. No mention of what he actually said (not that it matters, same shit different rally) or what he plans to do. Just talking about where he was and who showed up.

Trump has always been fixated on his zero ego, being the biggest the best the largest the most all of those idiot adjectives that you cannot quantify or validate and mean little.
He was the same way with that sham TV show, always feeling the need to be the highest rated or most popular or whatever because that is how he measures his world and those around him. He was the same with regards to AC too, his casinos relative to others and his golf projects relative to others.
The signs of a narccy and someone with absolutely no core sense of self worth are completely Trump. He runs his campaign and his life off pushing others down to elevate himself and that is the psychological sign of someone who has nothing inside, he is a zero inside and it radiates his hate and disdain for others, his narrative of self absorption and conspiracy.
What is also important to note, many people in the general public have the SAME qualities, they identify with a zero like Trump and are only concerned with their recognition and nobody else matters...that is how he even has an audience. I see lots of similar qualities in this forum with many members who post here.

Trump often exaggerates crowd size at his events. He has a habit of overstating his appeal. For example, 2017 inauguration. When confronted by the truth, he falsely claims dishonest media is misrepresenting or not reporting the number of people.
