President Trump gets the blame for the loss in Alabama....

No one here supports President Trump more than i do but i call it like i see it. In terms of what happened in Alabama last night the blame falls on President Trump. This seat changed hands because of President Trump not endorsing either Moore or Mo Brooks choosing instead to back the swamp monster Luther Strange. But the big blame lies with picking Jeff Sessions as AG who is as useful as t!ts on a bull. Just because Sessions endorsed Trump doesn't mean he gets a job. i was the 1st yooper to endorse Trump but i didn't get nor did i want a job in the cabinet
But in a way last night the Lord answered my prayer that i pray every night. i pray "Lord expose these corrupt politicians these swamp monsters. Show the world who they are" And we saw it here. That they would rather give the seat to a liberal democrat than someone who would support Trump and his agenda

I also learned one thing last night. The people of Alabama can no longer call themselves conservative or Christians. They exposed themselves last night. they call themselves pro-life yet they voted for a man who is pro abortion until a woman is crowning. They voted for a man who believes in open borders, amnesty for illegals and supports the baby butcher shop known as Planned Parenthood

The people of Alabama i always thought were good honest hardworking God-fearing people....But they showed me i was wrong. This is the same state that claims to love God yet had a pastor take the cross out of his church because it offends the muslims who go there. Going to a church and being offended by a cross is like going to a strip club and being offended by naked boobs

The people of Alabama with their choice have on their hands the blood of aborted babies. And mark my words...God's judgment is coming to Alabama. I will NEVER speak again to anybody on here or anywhere from Alabama for what they did last night

There's a lot of folks in the press in politics in hollywood on here etc. You think you can just say and do anything concerning this President and you'll get away with it. Whether you're a buffoon with big font and colors or an old timer you think in your brains that you all will escape judgment....Judgment is coming and my hands are clean

I disagree with some of this.  Maybe you re right.  But a lot of it comes down to the way Republicans think versus the way Democrats think.  Democrats will unite behind whomever is left standing; Republicans will stay home or write-in if they do not like the last person standing.  For example, Romney, McCain, etc.  Also, Look at Clinton -- he had allegations and Democrats for sure united behind him.  I always say you have to give Democrats 'credit' or 'lack of credit' for this.  Not sure which.  I also always say this is why a third or fourth party does not work here.  These tend to fracture the Republican base more than the Democratic base.
But you have some good points.

No, most of the blame falls on Moore's abhorrent behavior and the Alabama Republican primary voters who chose an abominable monster over an electable incumbent.

Also, suburban women voters swung to the left just like they did in New Jersey and Virginia.

Ass-backwards as usual. Doug Jones can't do diddly-squat in the Senate as the Dems have zero (0) power. even as the balance draws closer the GOP still has the reliable Mike Pence to cast a deciding vote in case of a tie.

What you have seen in the press and from Hollywood over the last 13 months is a hatred deep in the soul for Christians,person and conservatives. Its truly been exposed now. I have seen more hatred all over against christians in the last 13 months. Why? because 81% of christians voted for President Trump

What you are seeing from the media Hollywood social media politicians on both sides...what you are seeing is Satanic and Demonic. I know because have been a target for voting for President Trump and supporting....But you aren't shutting me up. We are in a war in this country and i'm willing to die for this.

alabama rejected Trump his candidate failed the primary then Bible Belt does not like pediphiles. Alabama went blue.   He’ll Michigan below zero I suppose an_wink

No, sorry, but a political forum is intended to be an open-minded place. When you get off track and slightly goofy in a gambling forum that is unnecessary and unwelcome posting, but: If there is to be no open-mindedness in a political forum it will never serve its intended purpose or mission.

 

Politics is largely opinion and sometimes yours are convoluted and unhealthy. You deserve rebuttal. You have earned it. You came here a few years ago with an attitude. “I am educated now, and I know everything.” Sadly, that is not the case. The best and brightest understand that early, formal education is only a launching pad. There is so much more to be learned about in the real world it is staggering. We literally never get there, anywhere close to “I know everything”.

You, apparently, are not very well educated. Rather; more a victim of indoctrination. Well educated is not a matter of what degrees you earned, from whatever system, but rather an ability to think with logic and reason, with a much smaller dose of rationalization included. At this point you may wish to take a break and study reason versus rationale. That alone could help.

So, this forum must be considered much more liberal, whether you like it or not, and when I see something from you or anyone else that I consider weird, or off-beat, or downright convoluted, I will continue to speak out, serving the purpose of the forum.

The reference to “old timer” is a real dandy. Let me tell you something you obviously don’t know. As opposed to “I know everything”, living a long time has taught me something you have not learned. When I was in grammar school I said to myself, “There are thousands of things I don’t know.” In high school it was “There are millions of things I don’t know” and in college “There are billions of things I don’t know, and maybe never will.” Learning how much we do not know (and probably never will) is education, maturity, and wisdom in itself.

Back up and back off. Try to learn something from “old timers” so that you may become truly educated yourself. Formal education is a launching pad, not a conclusion.

Alabama hasn't changed to a blue State.  Moore is a bad candidate who ran a poor campaign outspent by a wide margin.  Many republicans withdrew support from Moore after sexual misconduct allegations and made Jones the first Alabama democrat to go to senate in a generation.

 Many voters stayed home or chose someone else with write-ins exceeding Jones victory margin.  Any Moore support from Trump is useless since he has the lowest approval ratings among presidents in decades.

Sorry Pack, I thought that was in reference to voting for Moore. I'm with you, destroy everything the left stands for. They're on the wrong side of everything and that's exactly why they've gotten pounded ever since that empty suit became POTUS in 2008...

Exactly how do you turn my criticism of you and your jihadist attitude into "the president you supported"? I didn't say a thing in support of Obama. You are exactly like the other dolts that turn any criticism of Trump into "you must have supported and voted for Hillary". I have criticized many politicians over the years that I voted for. Just because I voted for them does not mean they peformed well in office or are suddenly immune to criticism or infallible in their actions going forward. You are the type of idiot that if I said I liked apples you would counter with "he doesn't like oranges!" Faulty thought process, possibly indicative of stupidity.
