@wallstreetcappers Agreed! DEI is a net good that seeks to help the disadvantaged from the negative effects of many, MANY decades of prejudice/racism, etc.
To me, it follows that those who oppose DEI, are those who wish to maintain WHITE PRIVILEDGE and the inherent, despicable prejudice toward multiple groups - despite their BS ranting to the contrary.
Project 2025 is denied by the convicted felon to be a part of his radical/authoritarian agenda - even though it clearly is!

If DEI is so great, why are there a large number of CEOs that want to get rid of it? If DEI was so great, wouldn't CEOs want to embrace it without question? Guess what, CEOs do NOT need DEI to hire the best qualified candidates. DEI is shoving racism/sexism and anti white skin color down companies throats. The fact that you had to point out those groups as part of DEI shows how ridiculous it was to push those groups ahead because they fit in the "group" that is NOT white or male. You don't need to shove DEI down companies throats in order for companies to hire the best qualified. It's wrong that a business would give a referral bonus depending on which group you mentioned was hired. That is racism in itself.

Maybe this is because you see people that fit into groups based on color of skin or sexuality (which has literally nothing to do when it comes to business) and fail to see people as people and set aside skin color. Pushing DEI on business' is racist to the core. Not supporting DEI does NOT mean you want to maintain so called white privilege. Supporting DEI DOES mean you want to punish white people. Fixed it for you.

Your focus and definition of DEI is what causes divide, you equate hiring decisions as DEI and thus it should be removed, this is a false narrative and ignores the core concepts of the term DEI. Diversity does not mean only hiring decisions, I gave a partial list of what DEI means to me and none of the definition is about hiring quotas. Your side uses the outlier examples to support their project 2025 removal of ALL things DEI and identify those outlier concepts to be the full definition and that is outright deception and ignorance.
To your complaint, I would suggest AGEISM is more of a large scale harmful concept, maybe more than the mandates that some companies might try to put in place to give more people more opportunity and make the hiring decision more than just a paper matter. I would also include race and wealth as more harmful in your example than only skin color or experience, this country has centuries of "good ole boy" network damage that includes wealth, race and gender and why would it be so awful to try and balance the equity in business and the economy? People have been elevated, white males since the start of this country and that is an abuse which caused generations of harm, generations of inequity and imbalance, so why would it be wrong to open the opportunity and economy to those who have been harmed for generations?

I agree . Plus I’m still waiting for my 40 acres and a mule . Plus why did my relatives get kicked out of where they lived just so the Dodgers could build their stadium back in the day ? Ridiculous . Anybody complaining has had it coming . The inevitable balance of things will always happen . Can’t stop it .
