Not having a hard time understanding this at all. It appears you are thou. I still dont know why you are so damn concerned with whats happening in our country anyways. Shouldnt you be worrying about canada.
By the way i guess all those news specials that have been on abc, 40 minutes, cnn about the Canadian health care system being downright awful were all lies and everybody should just believe you that its such a wonderful system. I sure as hell dont think a system where once a month you get the chance to win a spot on a family doctors patient list great system you got their ducky

How many towns in the US would you guess had only one family doctor?
How about none?
How many counties in the US have no OB/GYN's to deliver babies- requiring mothers to travel sometimes significant distances for prenatal care and delivery of their infant.
This may well be a problem in Canada- but is also a problem in the rural US-

your a complete joke and really should mind your own business.
20/20 AND 60 MINUTES ALONG WITH CNN RAN SPECIALS ABOUT HOW AWFUL THE CANADIAN SYSTEM IS. If you dont want to believe those specials were on t.v well then thats your problem. Maybe you can call up those stations and they will send you a tape of the actual shows.
You have no credibilty in this healthcare debate at all, because you know nothing about it. Also the person that is in charge of the health care for the city govt i used to work at knows alot more about this healthcare stuff then some extreme liberal wing nut from another country.

He's a joke, he always posts this story about Norwood, ON. Even if it is true, which I'm not even sure it is, Norwood is like a town of 500 people, with a huge hospital less than 20 minutes in two directions.
It's a tiny ass town, and if people are in that dire need of doctors they should drive 20 minutes to Peterborough and they'd be fine.
And even if this was true, and all those facilities weren't there, that's in no way shape or form reflective on the overall quality of care within a province, or even province to province.
Not only that but there are real problems with the Canadian healthcare system, that are actual problems and not more laughable propaganda cooked up by the right wing.
Of course I'm not gonna give you guys fuel for the fire so if you'd ever want to know you'd actually have to do some research on it.
Of course then you might learn that we spend close to 9% of our tiny GDP on healthcare, while you spend close to 40% of your massive GDP on healthcare, and ours is ranked better in terms of overall quality of care. In addition, we cover all our citizens, while you have millions of American people denied health insurance and treatement.

I want insurance companies running it, but i also want tougher rules that these companies will have to follow in order for them to stay in business selling insurance. And please dont even tell me that the only way the system can be fixed is if the govt takes it over, because thats totally not true. On top of that once the govt gets a hold of the system they will for sure break it and make things worse then they are now. Please just tell me why you would think they could run the whole system, when they fail at everything they touch.
They couldnt even manage a simple cash for clunkers program without screwing it up. Do you really want them in charge of your health care? Sorry but i dont.
