This thread was the CIA-concocted sickness - the unhinged conspiracy theory - that dominated Democratic Party politics and their media partners for four years. They're all trying to distance themselves now from the Steele Dossier but it shaped the bullshit they fed Americans since 2016.
My guess is this will follow the example of the WMD debacle, where the media figures who got it completely wrong by endorsing that fraud thrived and were promoted (many of them were also leading Russiagaters), while the few who got it right will somehow still be stigmatized.
