i am an independent just do not care i want america to inhabit mars the moon and beyond. but only unified can we achieve this...... republican democrat , it just does not matter. I want us to reach for the stars even if we do not reach them in my life we can go furthur than we have in post ice age times.

Since I'm self employed, I currently have a policy with ACA (Obamacare), I pay about $ 500 per month. Which saves me a penalty on my tax return. Not inexpensive. But, I do have minimal co-pays on my monthly medications because of the coverage.

So any changes to the ACA would effect me. The problem is, no one actually knows what Trumpcare entails except it wouldn't be a requirement to have health insurance and there would be massive tax cuts for the rich.

Also, your approach to the issue is a selfish one. It shouldn't be about just you. It should a plan that helps the people that need it the most.

I guess you guys ran out of talking points you heard on MSNBC or Sean Hannity's show.

senate unveils their plan today 20 hours of debate and a vote then it goews back to paul ryan.

not all young people are winners.  massive cuts to medicaid and 35 million kids receive medicaid not to mention many millions more pregnant women.  a couple million vets too but who cares about them once they are out of the military.

You are correct, 39% of our young kids have their health care insurance through Medicaid. About 70 million Americans are Medicaid recipients, all of those kids and low income Americans will get their Medicaid stripped off by Mitch McConnell and the company.

and i'm not saying we shouldn't cut medicaid.  i'm sure there are inefficiencies in that program that could be addressed.  any conservative approach would look at that.

my problem, of course, is massive cuts to medicaid (kids, poor people, pregnant women, etc) while increasing our already ridiculous military spending and giving the richest people tax cuts without regard to how we're going to pay our existing expenses (at least until that 4-6% GDP growth kicks in ).  there's nothing conservative about this plan.  it's just redistributed welfare for the people who need it the least at the expense of people who need it the most and more debt.

Likewise, this McConnell Bill will give richest Americans some hundred of billions of tax break and by the same time kicks out low income family kids and elderly from the Medicaid.

see now the democrats can be for something Universal Health insurance Vermont model of Bernies plan. it like a win win there .


so instead of being against the repupublicans you can be For something that the 99% can appreciate.
