The current AHCA passed by the House has a approval rating of only 17 % of the public. The Senate version while expected to be less draconian than that bill will still strip millions off Obamacare, millions of middle and lower class and seniors will see their premiums shoot up. Medicaid will still be gutted but in 5 - 7 years instead of the 2–3 years under the House version. Patients will pre-existing conditions will still be horribly affected by being shuttered into high risk pools that will be underfunded and overcrowded. With the bill coming up for a vote before the July 4th recess and most likely by next week, it is still 50/50 whether McConnell has the votes to get this over the finish line.
But the fact the vast majority of Senators would even support this Bill tells us they are very close to getting it passed, with only a few holdovers like Murkowski and Collins undecided. Meanwhile Democrats have promised a robust obstruction of the vote using every procedural delay at their disposal. My question is knowing how unpopular Obamacare was before Trump became President and realistically it being the defining issue that cost them the House in 10', the Senate in 14' and vast numbers of Governorships and Statehouses, should Democrats just stand down and let Republicans pass the ACHA knowing it will be a scarlet mark on them forever and all but ensuring the Democrats take back the House and Senate next year and most likely will have a redo of 08' when they captured the Presidency and Supermajorities in Congress and would make passing Single Payer Medicare for All that much easier after the people experience 4 years of Trumpcare?

Have you noticed all Democrats say the EXACT same things?
The Democrats want to control healthcare{1 of Alinsky's rules for radicals} They want to keep them on Medicaid
They talk about single payer{Which would be a disaster}
We as Christians gave the GOP the House, Senate and WH to do this: Destroy the last President's Anti American Anti Christian legacy.
I ask that you all on the left keep your BS up because you are losing millions of hard working blue collar Democrats who have had enough of this BS that the Democratic Party spews every day. A party with no ideas except Trump is a doody-head

democrats want to prevent any legislation from passing.
they need to stop all legislation on the republican list ahca, tax reform, budget, any thing more than the continuation of status quo so they can trumpet that republicans are hypocrites cant get along ect ect.for the 2018 election cycle.... they banking that republicans can not regroup and pass legislation. all the republicans have to is pass legislation. like putting brady with five minutes on the clock needs a touch down and the democrats are on defense. I am betting republicans come steam rolling their agenda in the second half of this year.

I would compare the Republicans to more like Ryan Fiztpatrick than Brady. And I wonder where Dems got the idea to completely obstruct a sitting President's agenda with both branchs of Congress from? Maybe you shouldn't throw rocks in glass houses.

do i see a dr unless i am dying then not much effect here mattbrot
will the emergency room treat you if you are dying of a heart attack anyway, yes so the health blah blah blah does not really effect me .
President Obama
has promised his signature health law will gradually reduce expensive
ER visits as access to other kinds of care is expanded. Critics contend
newly insured patients — especially those enrolled in Medi-Cal, the
state's low-income health program that picks up most patient costs —
aren't likely to seek care elsewhere, and will overwhelm emergency
rooms.

Let's see how GOP handles our health care system from here, they win 2018 and 2010 elections with ease if most Americans like it. Or, Dems take over in 2018 and 2020 if GOP backfires the health care system to ashes.
