It's a travesty that he won't see jail time but guys have gotten off for worse and I am content with him losing his career. And I whole heartedly believe this is a lone act not some huge conspiracy that goes to the highest levels of politics. We should be thankful it wasn't a huge conapiracy. If it was, he wouldn't have been caught and it would've had it's desired effect of stoking racial attention. Again, ask yourself: If it would've been a conspiracy, would they have gotten two huge Nigerians to play the attackers? Do you think it would be that hard to hire a few white actors? Pros that won't be picked up and easily identified on camera. The shear idea of it is contradictory.

I will? I wouldn't have even heard about this case if not for covers bros. I can't stress enough how little I pay attention to the media, mainstream, fringe, social, or otherwise. I think teeth was maybe the first one to bring this to my attention.

I know it and you know it but in a court off law, he lied about being attacked. The rest of it, his motives, it's all conjecture. Those are the facts. I'm not defending this piece of shyt and I wasn't trying to disrespect you. What I am saying is even a regular person would probably walk on something like this. We make it into this huge conspiracy in our heads, and maybe it is, but that's not how the legal system works. There's zero proof of his motives so to them, his crime is essentially filing a false police report.

Yep. Such a great movie. The old man showed me that one when I was a kid. Now I kind of regret even using the reference on a piece of shyt like Smollett. If the media was worth anything, this could've been a watershed moment for our country. A moment to take a pause and ask, "What the f*ck?! How did we get to this point? How did we let it fall so far?" But the media has such a vested interest in keeping us divided, they never would. And it's not just the MSM. All media plays along. It's really sad. We all really need to wake up. And nobody seems to be pushing that agenda. We have white politicians talking about slavery reparations. I grew up in an all black neighborhood. My father and uncle were Black Studies professors. I never heard talk of reparations. The closest thing was jokes about how we never recieved or 40 acres and mule. Now it'a all the rage. Do you know what purpose talks of reparations serves? Making one groups dispise another. It'll never happen and would be impossible to implement so what's really the purpose if not to stoke the fires of division? The media and thess politicians are something else. Something evil.

protest

“We’re going to protest the way this case was handled and how several other cases were handled,” said Patrick Murray, first vice president of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7.
Murray said the union believes Foxx never “fully recused” herself from the Smollett case.

I was willing to let this go away. Even though I think he's scum who should be in jail, I was willing to let it go away. That is, until he and his defense team opened their traps. Now I am praying to god there are federal charges. This dude is scumbag. His lawyer is a scumbag. It's such a slap in the face to see him get away with what he did only to have him continue to play the victim. The interview where his lawyer mentions the whiteface is maybe one of the most ridiculous things i've ever seen or heard. I hope he goes to Jail and gets housed in the Aryan block.
