I am well aware of Barr's history and his unique family ties to Epstein which date back decades. Don't think it's coincidental Epstein ended up dead under his watch.

Wind and solar power have made up a record 24% of the European Union’s electricity mix since Russia launched its war on Ukraine, a new report says, a boost that has also helped the bloc battle soaring inflation.
The growth in renewable power capacity has saved the 27-nation bloc €99 billion ($97 billion) in avoided gas imports between March and September, which is €11 billion ($10.8 billion) more when compared with the same period from last year, according to the report published by climate think tanks E3G and Ember.
The boost in renewables comes as Europe tries to wean itself off Russian gas.
....so it can be done....and significantly helpful even in the near-term without having to rely on oil for several more decades while transitioning.

Retired federal Judge J. Michael Luttig – considered a legal luminary in conservative circles – is joining with voting rights groups as a co-counsel in a Supreme Court case in order to persuade the justices to reject an obscure legal theory that has been promoted by supporters of Donald Trump.
At issue is the so-called independent state legislature doctrine. Supporters of the theory say that state legislatures should be able to set rules in federal elections without being held in check by state constitutions either through interpretation by state courts or by the functioning of commissions created under state constitutional reforms.
“The independent state legislature doctrine was the centerpiece to Trump’s effort to overturn the 2020 election,” Luttig said in an interview with CNN on Wednesday.
“I have believed since January 6th that I had a responsibility to the country to explain why I rejected the theory in advising the vice president,” he said.
If the Supreme Court sides against Luttig and supporters in Moore v. Harper, it could fundamentally change the landscape of election law.

Soooo why is the Europe experiencing record high energy prices that have never been seen in history? If solar and wind were helping, wouldn't prices be coming down instead of continually going up to record highs? Please explain...

This is pretty much a guaranteed development, but as you say, "in time"
It certainly is helping some already, and will continue to grow. But these projects do take time.
Europe is vulnerable by being too dependent on oil and gas. Russian invasion of Ukraine worsens supply problems and increases costs. Fortunately, cheaper renewable energy has helped Europe to reduce part of the costs. In the future, Europe needs to diversify by developing more renewable energy to reduce dependence on other countries.

Mexico announced Monday that it plans to dramatically increase the amount of power it generates from renewable sources of energy, deploying more than 30 additional gigawatts of annual electricity generation from wind, solar, geothermal and hydropower by 2030.
The new clean energy targets were made public at a news conference at the United Nations climate change conference, known as COP27, in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. By the end of the decade, Mexico aims to generate more than 40 gigawatts of power from wind and solar alone.
As of 2019, Mexico had 80 gigawatts of installed electricity generation capacity, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The majority of that comes from natural gas, while renewables account for 10% and hydropower 7%, so the new target would represent a major shift toward a largely renewable energy portfolio if the country succeeds in meeting its new target.
