Measure 110, first-of-its-kind legislation that decriminalizes the possession
of all illegal drugs in Oregon, including heroin, cocaine, meth and oxycodone.

Instead of a criminal justice-based approach, the state will pivot to a
health care-based approach, offering addicts treatment instead of prison time.
Those in possession will be fined $100, a citation that will be dropped
if they agree to treatment.

The law goes into effect Monday and will be implemented over the next decade
by the state officials at the Oregon Health Authority.

Aussies developed a good plan - including masking, social distancing and shutdowns - and it worked. This was aided in large part, imo, because their citizens are not so potlitically divided as us.  Here, if one side supports anything that is inherently GOOD for the nation, the other side automatically opposes it. Australians unified against a common threat, as did New Zealand, Japan, and scores of other nations.

  Here, dumbasses screamed that their FREEDOM to infect and kill others was being taken from them, so they opposed public health measures in the guise of that "freedom" - and THAT increased the spread rather than decreased it.

So, despite the trump-regime's total FAILURE to have in place an effective plan for vaccinating America, Joe Biden has picked up the fumbled football and moved in down the field with precision. 

Like Midnight1 is rightfully quoted as saying often: "trump had no plan"

But Biden team did and still does.

Sure, nothing is 100% perfect......but Biden promised an average of ONE MILLION vaccinations per day -- far better than the failed trump regime -- and not only has he achieved it, but he has vastly exceeded that goal to almost TWO MILLION vaccinations per day (weather permitting)

That's not just good news..... that's VERY GOOD NEWS!

At this rate (barring unforseen circumstances like blizzards, etc) we could have nearly ALL Americans who want to get vaccinated achieved by mid-June!

Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.

CNN's Anderson Cooper will moderate the town hall and ask some of his own questions,
but CNN's past town halls have prioritized audience interaction, and that's the plan for
Tuesday's event as well. "Expect the audience to dominate the questioning."
