If your wife and your financial advisor took you for all you had and you were broke and the Commissioner of Baseball told you that you could not work with the company that hired you in Atlantic City....even though you were a "gift to the game of baseball" and an entire generation.....and saw that your main competitor...Mickey Mantle, who also was not able to get that job in Atlantic City...but was able to get plenty of others because of "many reason"....WOULD YOU BE A LITTLE PISSED OFF ALSO?????

I knew the investment banker that came to Willie's rescue and saved this man....the story about his wife and first financial advisor is true....and we all know the story about the job offer in A.C.

Willie did not let many into his personal circle of friends again....he was not the same man he was when he played ball....

BUT....he was the greatest player that ever lived.....and played the game clean and for the love of it....not like his Godson.
