The nation of Iran has been a giant thorn in the side of the United States. It didn’t help that former President Obama was doing anything and everything he could to help them. The secret deals that the former President made with the rogue nation always hurt the United States.

Enter President Donald Trump, who has spoken about being tougher on Iran. Specifically, he has mentioned ripping up the Iran nuclear deal that was signed in 2015. Considering that this deal is giving Iran the resources to create nuclear weapons, it’s a pretty good thing to rip up.

As expected, Iran has been against Trump for these comments. They have basically brushed off his warnings and have conducted military drills to show off their strength. Trump said that he was putting Iran “on notice.” That threat hasn’t worked though, as a new report shows that Iranian boats have pointed armed weapons at US ships.

On Tuesday, an American admiral confirmed that there were Iranian ships with armed weapons aimed at the American ship. The ship, a U.S. Navy flotilla, was passing through a shipping lane in international waters. This shipping lane is considered crucial, at least according to report, because of what goes through it.

“[Iranian boats] were in the middle of international transit waters [while] we had a right to be there.” Those were the words of Rear Adm. Kenneth Whitesell as he spoke to reporters on the USS George H.W. Bush, according to Reuters. He continued, “They had some of the weapons manned. We also have aerial data that they were arming all of these weapons.”

It should be noted that the fast-attack vessels of Iran don’t come close in pure firepower of a U.S. warship. However, that didn’t stop them from going within 1,000 yards of the aircraft carrier Bush. There were four other ships in the area, including a French destroyer.

This tense situation occurred in the Strait of Hormuz. It’s one of the most important shipping lanes in the entire world, as it deals with the oil industry. This was the first time that a U.S. carrier attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz since President Trump became the President of the United States.

This tense situation wasn’t sitting well with the sailors onboard the destroyer. “[Iran has] every right to come out and see who we are and query what our intentions are,” Captain Will Pennington, the commanding officer, said to reporters. He continued, “It is the method with which they do that which is unprofessional and adds greater risk to miscalculation in our need to maneuver the ship, and often presents a risk to the merchant traffic that’s around us.”

Even though these vessels of Iran don’t have the brute strength of a U.S. warship, that hasn’t stopped them from being aggressive in the past. For some reason, Iran has decided to harass ships in international waters.

There was an incident in February in which Iranian-backed militants in Yemen carried out an attack on a nearby ship. What they did was load a boat with explosives and sent it on a mission to attack a Saudi Arabian ship. However, it gets worse.

Even though the ship that was attacked was a Saudi Arabian ship, some officials have made the claim that the suicide bombers were attempting to attack a United States ship.

The Washington Examiner reported on this incident. “While one U.S. defense official said the Iranian-backed Houthi suicide bombers appeared to know they were attacking a Saudi-flagged vessel, another Pentagon official says a video recorded by rebels seemed to give the impression the attackers might have thought the ship was a U.S. Navy vessel.”

It’s actually disturbing that the Iranian ships wanted to attack a United States ship. If what the Pentagon official says is true, then President Trump will have more on his hands. What is going to stop Iran from attempting to do this in the future? The rogue nation seems hell-bent on trying to provoke the United States into another conflict. It’s something that President Trump doesn’t want to do.

However, the constant harassment of ships in a popular shipping lane cannot be tolerated. Someone has to set Iran straight, before they proceed to have another attack on a ship in the area.

This is far from the first time that Iran has used this shipping lane as a testing ground. A couple weeks ago, they were conducting missile tests in the actual shipping lanes. These missiles also were reported to have the potential to follow U.S. ships that were in the lane. If Iran actually has this technology, it’s unnerving what they could do with it.

Back in February, Iran had deployed their naval forces, despite the fact that the United States putting them “on notice.” Again, these boats were heading towards the Strait of Hormuz. This was arguably when the tensions in the waterway started getting higher and higher.

We'll end up dropping another atomic bomb on these fools. This would put a stop to all the satan obama doings from the last 8 years. He's the cause of everything terrible, going on in the world today. Think about it, nothing like this was happening 8 years ago. He's lied and murdered till he's ruined the world to help his buddy satan soros.

Another one of Obama's failed policies!!!
