health tool we have, and I will continue to appeal for all Americans, all
individuals in our country, to embrace these face coverings,” Redfield said
during his Wednesday hearing before the Senate Committee on Appropriations.

“I’ve said that if we did it for six, eight, ten, twelve weeks, we’d bring
this pandemic under control,” he continued, noting,
“We have clear scientific evidence they work, and they are our best defense.”

the immunogenicity may be 70%. And if I don't get an immune response,
the vaccine is not going to protect me. This face mask will," Redfield told
lawmakers during public testimony on Wednesday, adding that the
American public has not yet embraced the use of masks to a level
that could effectively control the outbreak.

Trump said during an ABC town hall Tuesday night that
"there are a lot of people that think that masks are not good."

Dr. Peter Hotez, a pediatrician, vaccine expert and dean of the National School
of Tropical Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, told CNN that
Trump's promise is unrealistic.
"There's too many unknowns right now for either the President or
Dr. Atlas to make those statements," Hotez said.

"First of all, we don't even know if any of the three Operation Warp Speed
vaccines in clinical trials even work or if they are safe," he added.

Major resurgence of covid in UK

London (CNN) The number of coronavirus cases in the UK is doubling roughly
every seven days, according to the country's chief scientific advisor, Patrick Vallance.
If that rate continues to grow unabated, "by mid-October you would end up with
something like 50,000 per day," which "could lead to 200 deaths a day" by November,
Vallance warned at a Monday press briefing.
"If we don't act, the virus will take off," Vallance's colleague Chris Whitty,
the UK's chief medical officer, told the same briefing in Downing Street.
"That is the path we are on and if we do not change course, we will find ourselves
in a very difficult problem."
The advisors' comments have fueled speculation that the government is preparing
the ground for a second national lockdown, or other hard measures, in order to
get cases back to a sustainable level.

"And it's happening because we're forcing schools to reopen in areas of high
transmission. We're forcing colleges to reopen, and we don't have the leadership
nationally, telling people to wear masks and to social distance and do all the
things we need to do."

Dr. Jeanne Marrazzo, director of the division of infectious diseases at the
University of Alabama at Birmingham, said she agrees this fall
"could be apocalyptic" after recent spikes.

Many of his posts alluded to coordinated schemes by public health officials to
damage Trump politically.

it is safe to say that the entire Wuhan virus scare was nothing more or less
than a massive fraud perpetrated upon the American people by 'experts'
