I was sort of rooting for Biden to get it lower than Trump did.  Or at least improve or maintain where Trump had it pre-Liberal shutdown.

But probably will continue to remain far below the mean avg of the past 75 years.  Of course the 16 months record is far better than trump achieved and then there are all Biden's other achievements these past 2 1/2 yrs that no former president has come close to matching even over a full 4 year term!

It was a natural disaster? Pretty sure there's still no word on how the fire started...Much like CA forest fires were man made, we can not rule out that this Maui fire was or was not man made yet.  

Left leaning sites are quick to blame climate change. Same thing they did with the large fires in CA. Come to find out, the CA fires were caused by arsonists. At the same time, fire prevention should be at the forefront of all cities and regions that are prone to fires raging out of control.

Fact check: Biden tells three false personal anecdotes in economic speech

President Joe Biden made three false claims
about his own past in a Tuesday speech in Milwaukee.

The speech was focused on the economy and the
Inflation Reduction Act the president signed into law
one year ago Wednesday, and his economic claims
in the prepared address were almost entirely accurate! 
But
he also peppered in three false personal anecdotes,
including two that have previously been debunked,
continuing his habit of inaccurate ad-libbing about his biography.

Aside from those, Biden also made a gaffe regarding economics.

Biden claimed,
“And unlike the last president,
in my first two years in office,
even with all we’ve done –
I’m the first one to cut the federal debt
by $1 trillion $700 billion.”

It is believed what he meant to say was "deficit"
not "debt" - and that would be factual as it did decline
by roughly $1.7 trillion between fiscal 2020 and fiscal 2022

a huge achievement not equalled by any president
this century, including the infamous twice-impeached

The press conference addressed this issue to some extent.

The hill reporting that Biden administration is launching new student loan repayment plan which reduces monthly payments based on income.  This helps provide debt relief for up to a million borrowers and bring the promise of college to more Americans.    So far, Biden administration has provided over $116 billion in debt relief for 3.4 million borrowers through different programs.

Yahoo news report Biden administration has approved emergency declaration to help Florida and other states recover from hurricane.  However earlier, DeSantis has refused $350 million from Biden's climate fund to help Florida residents with green energy projects to tackle climate change.  Unfortunate that republicans are putting politics ahead of delivering meaningful progress for hard working Americans.

News flash- joe doesn't even know what's in the act.

Absolutely!  And it's been very badly needed for the past several years.  Infrastructure wasn't improved at all under the republican TRUMP regime, despite repeated promises.  Thank goodness for the Dems actually getting it done!
