Biden administration sets first ever national limits on forever chemicals in drinking water. Infrastructure bill helps provide funding for states to upgrade water treatment systems. Potentially reducing chemical exposure for 100 million people and preventing thousands of illnesses. However Trump wants to slash environmental regulations if re-elected. Apparently, he doesn't care if more people get cancer.
another example of president biden and the dems not doing anything to help or protect americans whatsoever hell he isnt even trying to help so this proves the magas r right

The CDC should be defunded for not having a comprehensive plan for a pandemic. What are they doing for the other 364 days in the year ? The 1 day we need them, we hear off the cuff remarks from Debra Birx and Tony Fauci ....
Under Trump administration, US was ill prepared for pandemic crisis. In 2018, pandemic response team of National security council was dismantled. Medical supplies weren't restocked for strategic reserves. When pandemic emerged in 2020, Obama pandemic playbook was ignored. Trump pandemic response team was headed by Pence. Center for disease control leadership was silenced with no real power to enforce public health measures in states. To deflect from Trump mismanagement, experts such as Birx and Fauci are blamed.

US to award Samsung up to $6.6 billion chip subsidy for Texas expansion, sources say
Lucky Texas!
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The Biden administration plans to announce it is awarding more than $6 billion to South Korea's Samsung next week to expand its chip output in Taylor, Texas, as it seeks to ramp up chipmaking in the U.S., two people familiar with the matter said.
Welp, there's proof if anyone needs it that the Joe Biden admin is totally failing America! Imagine giving away all our money free to a foreign country and we get fuckall

CNN reports that Biden administration is forgiving another $7 billion in student loans for 277,000 borrowers who work in government. So far, over $153 billion in debt relief for 4.3 million people. Biden has cancelled more student debt than any other president in US history. Democrats are the party that offer a better life for Americans and pursue popular policies. However republicans want to keep them in debt and pursue unpopular policies.

Polls show most people support stronger gun control to reduce violence. In contrast, Trump administration has done nothing meaningful on gun control despite promising reforms.

Why do republicans want to keep those who represent our future in perpetual debt? Is this the policy of "the king of debt?"

I take issue with student debt forgiveness in a large scale for a few reasons. I have a kiddo in college right now so I understand the situation about costs and how much a good education will be over the time they are in school and it is getting to the point where the cost of education is not always worth it to what is gained earnings wise. I also do not think that the quality of education is great nor that it is leading to a seamless path to a career and earning. So if an education costs someone 50k on the very light side and 500k plus on the heavy side and that does not directly lead to a solid job then what good is it?
The reason I am not in support of a higher ed subsidy (that is who gains, the higher ed institutions) is that there is ZERO discussion about costs, you never hear the concept of lowering education costs, only that forgiveness is almost an entitlement. Higher ed costs outstrip CPI and there is not a great deal of regulation on costs nor any effort being made to streamline the education process. We force students to take required classes that in the high majority do not add to the job prospects and we ask students to pay FULL PRICE for those classes, they pay the same for stupid Biology and Psychology and Diversity nonsense as they do for a 400 level Accounting class..that is messed up. The generals list keeps getting longer and it should be getting shorter, we should require 12 semester hours of pathetic general classes and let the students move on to their core classes and find out what they want to do. This will never happen but it should.
The other large issue I have is entitlement, that students can live off loans and have a better experience than the lower class does. At my local schools students drive nicer cars than I do, live in nicer apartments and are using nicer tech than I have and the student loan industry makes that possible. There should be restrictions on the use of loans and it should be for tuition, books, fees, parking and that is all. If students need help with food and board then they need to get a job or join the military and take those education benefits.
At a strong minimum ANY loan forgiveness should be coupled with public service, so like military benefits include help for higher ed, if a student wants loan forgiveness then they have to perform restrictive public service at say a rate of 20 bucks an hour, maybe less but 20 sounds reasonable. Do the service work, earn loan credits and add to society for taking a loan freebie from society.

“No matter where Donald Trump is, whether it’s in Mar-a-Lago, a courtroom or anywhere else, he’ll be focused on himself, his toxic agenda, his campaign of revenge and retribution. That’s going to be a continuation of the contrast the American people have been able to see since this campaign began,” said Biden campaign communications director Michael Tyler.

Well, third will never answer your question because it's a bot. But Thirds response from the left leaning side is pure hypocrisy and projection of the left. They will blame the right for "keeping people in perpetual debt" when most likely, it's the left that wants everyone in debts because when you're in debt, you rely on the government and the left wants the largest government possible. What's the quote..."we're from the government, and we're here to help".?

I agree about the service work for loan forgiveness. If the public will eventually pay for the "cancellation", those who receive should also give back to the public (outside of their jobs). Do you think this should be the case with those that take welfare? What about drug testing for welfare as well?
College students can decide to take the general/required classes at a juco before they transition to a degree which keeps the costs of college down when these young adults figure out what they want to major in. But most students want the big expensive college right out of HS while they have no idea about the loans and the repayment terms. HS should have a semester at the end of their junior year that goes into detail about college and loans so they can properly prepare for college a year in advance. But banks don't want people to be smart about their money, they want those high balances with high interest rates and for people to make above the min payments while still collecting interest. College will also never lower prices when the federal gov't backs student loans. That, IMO is the reason why college became outrageous in costs. When the gov't backs your debt, prices will rise. We are witnessing that in real time ever since covid and the printing of money to keep a machine moving when nobody is there to run it.

Polls show most people support stronger gun control to reduce violence. In contrast, Trump administration has done nothing meaningful on gun control despite promising reforms.

In 2021, Biden expanded child tax credit was a huge success. National academy of science study found that US could cut child poverty by half in a decade at a cost of $90 billion per year. That is less than 10% of child poverty economic cost of $1 trillion per year. Obviously, expanded child tax credit should be extended. However mostly republicans refused to extend this popular credit that make democrats look good because of politics.

Playing politics instead of doing the right thing.
Same shit with the bi-partisan Border Reform bill when the republicans were conceded most of what they had been demanding.

The House passed the 21st Century Peace through Strength Act with a bipartisan vote of 360-58.
The bill includes national security priorities, including sanctions on Iran, the seizure of frozen Russian sovereign assets and a measure that could lead to a nationwide ban of TikTok.

The House is also voting on three separate bills to provide foreign aid to Ukraine, Israel and the Indo-Pacific region. If the bills pass the House, the legislation will be combined into one amendment before being sent to the Senate.

Huffpost reports on Biden administration new rules for airlines. Automatic refunds for flights cancelled or delayed 3-6 hours. Also disclosure of extra fees before ticket purchase. By holding airlines accountable, passengers could potentially save over half a billion dollars a year.
