Worldwide, studies show lockdowns worked to save lives in 2020 according to wikipedia and Health feedback.  Without public health measures , vaccines and treatments, there would have been far more infections, hospitalizations and deaths.  US vaccination has prevented over a million covid deaths and millions of hospitalizations.  Best protection combines both natural and vaccine immunity.

Certainly the painful hospitalizations, lost jobs, lost income, devastated economy and deaths ultimately caused in large part by the trump regime's covid mismanagement to protect the citizens of America is no laughing matter.

Biden administration sets first ever national limits on forever chemicals in drinking water.  Infrastructure bill helps provide funding for states to upgrade water treatment systems.  Potentially reducing chemical exposure for 100 million people and preventing thousands of illnesses.  However Trump wants to slash environmental regulations if re-elected.  Apparently, he doesn't care if more people get cancer.

It might shed some light on what you're witnessing. This is why the FED will RAISE rates in the future and not lower rates like you've been reading daily for the last 4-9 months. While the gov't is busying spending (tax payers) money, they also need to raise money by borrowing. Borrowing and paying back at higher interests rates than in years past is not good. Now they'll need to raise rates so they can borrow even more to keep up with the reckless spending. Biden thinks he has the Amex black card with no limits, and you pay the price for that. Or lower rates, and watch inflation take off even higher.  But keep cheering on sleepy while you watch CNN.

 I usually just skip over their posts because it's like reading something from a 5 year old. Usually makes no sense. Forever chemicals are in basically everything we consume. This funding could also "potentially" not limit anything.
