The Biden Presidency: Repairing America.....again
president biden admin announces that fully vaccinated visitors will b allowed into the use for non-business leisure travel starting november 8
joe biden trying to repair the disaster chump and his supporters left ![]()
It will take awhile for the effects of tourist travel to achieve significant economic impact but this is welcome news, Kelly.
Mind you, FAIR is FAIR -- it is the "trump-vaccines" that are making this possible -- at least for those intelligent enough to get vaccinated, just like trump himself has urged people to do here at home, among other notables.

Biden administration is looking to help save Christmas and ease supply shortages of goods according to USA today. Walmart, Fedex and UPS agreed to expand night work hours to reduce supply chain bottlenecks caused by the pandemic. Previously, Los Angeles port workers agreed to work extra shifts.
It won't solve everything since this is a private sector issue to solve but every little bit helps in this case.

Correct, sir.
Intelligent Americans understand (or should) that this is almost entirely a private sector issue. Governments can offer some assistance but it has to be resolved by the private sector. And we all know that REPUBLICANS have insisted now and for decades that they DO NOT WANT the federal government meddling in "private sector" affairs! "HANDS OFF!" they repeatedly say.

Biden gave people money to stay home. His policy like everything he does is a failure. Why would people work when they don't have to. That's part of the problem. Can't find help , problems arise. Solve problem ...? Work around the clock ,24/7... people have to get paid... costs go up... to cover costs of wagers .....so he really did not solve anything... he only makes it worse..

Maybe democrats shouldn't have shut down businesses and production and maybe supply could keep up with demand. Closing production means whatever supply is left is going to get bought up. So when businesses re-open they need supply. When supply is low and demand is high, prices go up.
PRICES ARE UP BECAUSE PRODUCTION WAS SHUT DOWN. Remember "14 days to slow the curve" turned into a year long shut down.

New executive order aims to
alleviate congestion at California's ports
New York (CNN Business)To alleviate cargo congestion at shipping ports in California, Governor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order Wednesday tackling the shortage of truck drivers and container storage needed to move critical cargo out of the ports.
"California's ports are critical to our local, state and national economies and the state is taking action to support goods movement in the face of global disruptions," said Governor Newsom in a statement Wednesday. "My administration will continue to work with federal, state and industry partners on innovative solutions to tackle immediate challenges while also bringing our distribution processes into the 21st century."
The executive order directs state agencies to find state, federal and private land for short-term container storage while identifying freight routes for trucks so the state can temporarily exempt weight limits on the road.

Lying biden created this mess. By paying people to stay home and not work. People have few bucks, buy some things from China. Now since HE PAID PEOPLE TO STAY HOME, there is no way to put in stores, and pack out. Now... in order to do this, workers will be overpaid , products cost more, this is all passed onto the consumer. If creepy joe did not pay to stay home, we would be in this situation.

Blame Joe Biden for absolutely *EVERYTHING* - no matter what.
I am surprised trump toilet worshippers across the country are not BLAMING Joe Biden (on all media forms) for inciting the Jan 6 insurrection to overthrow certifying Biden as President!!.....but I suppose that's only a matter of drugs + time before they do....

kelly is back on her meds, English completely thrown out the window.
Ya'll funny. I think the gov't just said it's the consumers fault for all this mess? Let's just blame the private sector and citizens for hurting our democracy and nation. Gov't has no involvement. You do understand that most Americans are finally waking up to the fact that the gov't is a complete disaster and know this mess is solely on the gov't hands. That's why the hit peaces are coming out today and blaming "consumers for buying too much stuff" They are setting the table for the cloth to get pulled. Wake up.
Could you imagine if the private sector shut down and let the govt control this? IT WOULD BE 1000X WORSE. Gov't can't even control the DMV or the post office
Have you met gov't employees? They punch the clock and then sit back. They literally don't give a damn about production because the gov't is paying their salary and pensions regardless of production. And you people want more gov't control over business?! Ya'll crazy.

The Biden Presidency: Repairing America.....again There's a lot of hard work ahead to repair the damage to our nation left in the wakeof the failed trump-regime. The Democrats are left to clean up the mess, yet AGAIN. And of course, the bitter right-wing partisans, anarchists, racists, and fascists - all of whom are constantly undermining progress and stoking the fires of division and hatred - will be there to subsequently disrupt, subvert, and at the very least criticize EVERYTHING the new administration tries in an attempt to rebuild from a disaster trump and his woefully misguided supporters are leaving behind. Imagine arsonists and supporters-of-arsonists openly criticizing and protesting the workof firefighters desperately trying to save a community from a devastating fire whichthose arsonists started.Yet, this is what I expect we will have going forward. Biden himself is far from perfect; although the same can be said of us all.But the team he has picked to surround him appears to be, at least on paper, a verygood one, and certainly far better than the chronically disorganized, corrupt, nepotistic, reckless, untruthful, demonizing, scandal-ridden regime that preceeded it. They are experienced, skilled and dedicated toward helping all of America. The Biden team is putting forth a $1.9 trillion proposal billed as the American Rescue Plan. It's bold, urgent, and it's needed. Biden has experience with recovery from 2009-2016. Unlike the trump-regime, the Biden team HAS A PLAN.
In case anyone hasn't read the very post post....Let's see how well this ages.

We are able to get anything we need/want here in SFLA.
And we are starting to see our Canadian snow birds arriving as well.

echo that . too bad bcuz bfor donnie chump and his regime the partisan divide in our country was at least tolerable .
but not anymore .
i believe it was wallstreetcappers who summed it up best months ago - and i am paraphrasing as i dont have his exact quote in front of me - but he said very rationally to the effect that it isnt so much donnie chump to blame for the huge partisan divide now ripping our country apart per se but much moreso those sheep who support and follow him r the real problem .
and i agree with that ![]()

ya that pretty much sums up most of the republican mantra the past 50+ yrs
but now the repo hypocrits in congress r trying to blame the liberal government for what is a private sector problem ![]()
of course they r
so they want hands off private sector issues but they seek to blame the federal government for not putting hands on private sector issues ??? ![]()
I know. Bizarre, right?! But that appears to be their partisan claim.
Blame Joe Biden for absolutely *EVERYTHING* - no matter what.
I am surprised trump toilet worshippers across the country are not BLAMING Joe Biden (on all media forms) for inciting the Jan 6 insurrection to overthrow certifying Biden as President!!.....but I suppose that's only a matter of drugs + time before they do....
echo that . too bad bcuz bfor donnie chump and his regime the partisan divide in our country was at least tolerable .
but not anymore .
i believe it was wallstreetcappers who summed it up best months ago - and i am paraphrasing as i dont have his exact quote in front of me - but he said very rationally to the effect that it isnt so much donnie chump to blame for the huge partisan divide now ripping our country apart per se but much moreso those sheep who support and follow him r the real problem .
and i agree with that ![]()
@BigGame90 Are you or anyone else experiencing a shortage of any products? We are able to get anything we need/want here in SFLA. And we are starting to see our Canadian snow birds arriving as well.
I haven't seen any shortages. I noticed lumber during the summer was up 100%-over 400%. Magically overnight the prices came back to normal. Meanwhile, while lumber was up over 100% the media claimed pricing was up "due to low supply, no truck drivers, bug infestation in Canada". Meanwhile Home depot and lumber yards were busting out of the seams with product in CA. I know some construction supplies are not getting produced because they are still trying to catch up from being shut down for months back in March/April. I know some of those products won't be ready until next year and there's no expected date of return. My grocery stores looks normal, although I spoke with some store employees and they mentioned some manufactures that package with plastic were having trouble producing.
I know clothing stores are starting to ship product in air, and they are paying 3x what normal shipping is to fill shelves. I think that has much to do with regulations and taxes on truck drivers and drivers refusing to drive in CA because they are basically driving for free in this state. Gas prices are hitting $5 so why the hell would any truck driver want to deliver to CA? They just refuse. Which will ultimately lead to higher prices on the shelves due to low supply. Again, NOT a private sector issue.
I also notice businesses that are supposed to check for vaccine passports are not. I would imagine if they did, they'd lost 40% of business as people would leave to the restaurant next door that isn't checking. Why would a business pay their employee to check passports when that employee can be contributing to actually making the business run?

It helps some. But reports say we are short of skilled truck drivers in comparison to the rising demand to move the freight even if they get offloaded onto docks.
