The Biden Presidency: Repairing America.....again

This is a common liberal tactic. If you look at the forum it's littered with them post after post. They are a small number, but the loudest. They have no interest in a discussion, just shouting down. They want to cancel anyone who doesn't agree with them, mob tactics.

We will need many more initiatives in both those areas going forward. 

Blitz... spot on... they want division, hatred,...they claim they want to fix it yet their methods only create more American misery.  Unsafe streets... rise in violent crimes direct results of defunding the police... follow the George soros money and you find weak d a.  More concerned with Ukraine border than ours.. they actually are abetting them ... flying and buying all over the country .  Yet no one on left can accept the fact this administration is the worst.. with even a bleaker future..

Biden administration to reinvest in research aiming to reduce cancer rates by 50% within 25 years. Potentially, saving average of 300,000 lives annually. This would involve fostering public-private partnerships with biomedical giants, community organizations and academic institutions.  In past decades, research has helped to reduce cancers overall.  But tragically, one of Biden sons died from brain cancer.

this will take considerable time but a push has to start somewhere so more good news from the joe biden administration

joe biden seemed to bring together the needed resources very well right after he took office to get the chump vaccines mass produced and mass distributed       so "fostering public-private partnerships with biomed giants" not likely to  b a huge issue

US lawmakers advance important China competition bill

CNN -

US lawmakers voted Friday to greenlight a multibillion-dollar bill
aimed at jumpstarting high-tech research and manufacturing,
countering China's growing influence and easing a global shortage
of computer chips.

The House Democrats' America Competes bill,
was approved in a 222-210 vote in the lower chamber.

The legislative push came after the US Commerce Department warned
that companies have an average of less than five days' worth of
semiconductor chips on hand, leaving them vulnerable to shutdowns.

(Note: all House republicans voted AGAINST the bill - designed to help America compete with China and add jobs to our economy.  This would definitely help "our side" vs the Chinese. But republicans feel it's more important to try and deny Joe Biden a "win" than to actually govern in the best interests of the U.S.)

That's a very significant drop from the awful 6.3% unemployment stat trump left behind after he incited an insurrection last year.

Meanwhile, data revisions from the BLS showed that the winter jobs gains
were much stronger than previously expected: Between November and
December, the number of positions added was more than 700,000 jobs

Forward thinking for America

(CNN) President Joe Biden on Tuesday will laud the decision
by an Australian company that makes chargers for electric vehicles
to build a manufacturing facility in Tennessee.

The company, Tritium, and the White House say the new plant
will produce up to 30,000 electric vehicle chargers per year and
create 500 local jobs in Tennessee.

Tritium's CEO, Jane Hunter, is scheduled to appear alongside Biden
at the White House at an afternoon White House event focused on
boosting American manufacturing.

It's a relief to once again have a president who doesn't trash our allies.

Biden has made rebuilding American manufacturing a key component
of his economic agenda. One way the President wants to boost
manufacturing and create more jobs is by building a
network of electric vehicle charging stations across the country.

The President argues future electric cars will be more climate-friendly
and affordable for American families, and he wants half the vehicles
sold in the US to be electric or plug-in hybrids by 2030.
His administration has outlined a plan to use $7.5 billion from the
bipartisan infrastructure law to build 500,000 electric vehicle charging
stations across the country.
There are currently fewer than 47,000.

Tuesday's event follows another manufacturing event at the
White House where Biden praised the decision from Intel
to build a new $20 billion chip manufacturing complex in Ohio!
The President said the new factory would create 7,000
construction jobs and another 3,000 permanent jobs
saying it would help address the semiconductor shortage.

The chips are essential to produce smart phones, medical equipment,
autos and a number of household appliances, and the shortage has
most notably contributed to a significant increase in automobile prices.

It would be foolhardy to think we don't need allies around the world.  Isolationism might've had some benefit 100 years ago but not in this century.
