When it comes to taking steps to fight climate change, Americans broadly support six key Biden administration proposals meant to transition the U.S. to renewable sources of energy, according to a Gallup poll released Monday.
Each of the six proposals was part of President Biden's Build Back Better bill,
which received no support from any Republican lawmakers.

Biden deserves credit for criminal justice reform by pardoning 78 prison inmates recommended for early release. Many of whom would have received shorter sentences if they had been sentenced today. Too many people serve unduly long sentences for nonviolent drug crimes. So far, Biden has issued more pardons than any of the 5 previous presidents at this point in their terms. In addition, Biden announces job training, housing and healthcare programs to help over 600,000 inmates leaving prison each year. These programs support en-entry into society and reduce recidivism. After Trump pardons of associates, Biden has restored a sense of dignity and fairness.
