Fake news, Slim. If you take the amount a person gets in welfare assistance, factor in food stamps and any other benefits (section 8, ect.), then average out the cost to administer said benefits, then you maybe get that number. That's a lot different than people believing the government is handing out monthly $5,000 checks. They aren't.
Why fake news...Stu....?
I will grant you, that not all of these benefits apply to every welfare beneficiary, and some are time-limited..However,with a combination of benefits certain qualified people can receive from what would amount to $4,000 and up to $5,000 a month..
In Hawaii, the most generous state,( I know first hand ,I just left there after a year..) a working family of three would have
to earn almost $61,000 just to be even with the $50,000 in welfare the
government benefits... remember we are talking about Hawaii now... the cost of living in Honolulu is about 65 % higher than the national average...
On the mainland ..there are 8 states, that pay more in welfare than the average salary of a US teacher...which is $45,263 as of Aug.14th 2017..
..and we are in agreement ,,on at least one thing and that is we are in need of welfare reform...big time..

It appears that Debbie Wasserman Shultz is going down to protect HRC/Clinton Crime Family. Fireworks will start to fly. Could be the end of the Democratic Party. Landslide in 2020 regardless of whose name appears on the Republican ticket. The link to the article follows.
