So the intel was never discussed in any morning briefing....and that's from the source. What a surprise that the Democrats are beating another dead horse in an attempt to slander Trump.
The media continues to play the sheep for suckers.

I watch both CNN and FOX NEWS as I always want both perspectives.
CNN will just blabber on about the coronavirus and whatever else they can come up with. They will silently drop this issue. If you don't change your channel from CNN, you end up brainwashed.

Why do you think this intel was leaked? Why do you think we shared this information with our allies if it was not credible? At what point will Republicans put the country first over their party?
If kneeling during the national anthem is disrespectful towards our troops (and I believe it is disrespectful to our country as well), what is ignoring intelligence that our troops are being hunted for money?
When you think of all the people Trump has betrayed in his life including our entire country, it's impressive he has never betrayed Putin.
Declaring this is fake news is total bullshit that you guys are still buying. There is financial intelligence showing the transfer of funds from a Russian owned bank to the Taliban.
The administration can't even get the their story straight....he was never informed to he was never verbally informed to the information wasn't credible.
In a normal presidency, the president would read the daily briefing. The intelligence group doesn't put data in there for shit and giggles. It is their main forum to alert the president with intelligence from all 17 intelligence groups that they deem important enough to notify the president.
No doubt there is much more to this incident and the Enemy of the People will eventually get to the bottom of it. There are still true patriots in the government that won't allow this POS to get away with his dereliction of duty. There's plenty of blood on his tiny little hands already.

100k was paid for killing an American or coalition soldier.
Just another reason why we notified our coalition partners in Afghanistan.
Back to you gambleholic63.

First off, you replied as I thought you would. You can't possibly know any of this, yet you do watch CNN.
Change the channel once a week.....it will do you some good.

You asked me to chime in. I provided what I could find with a little bit of research & instead of proving me wrong, you come back with a lame answer.
Prove me wrong or shut the fark up.

I'm no fan of Trump...didn't even vote for him as I sat out the last election as neither option appealed to me. That said, I attempt to process all of the information and keep an open mind.
Trump is a moron but he has done a lot of good despite the headwinds the Dems have forced him to deal with for nearly 4 years.
If the source says that the topic was not discussed in any morning briefing because the intel was not credible, then that's good enough for me. The Dems prefer to just make this another conspiracy/witch hunt, which in the past, has done nothing but waste taxpayer money and divert our government from accomplishing goals for a stronger nation.
You can choose to go with the CNN/Democratic narrative, but this issue will be dying out. You and the Desperate Democratic party will just have to come up with something else.

This thing will probably need a White House and Senate flip in Nov. to get to the bottom. That's why party switching is so crucial in our democracy, Midnight1.

Nice try but it's not just Democrats asking questions; it's the American public.

Seems to me since day 1 of his presidency, Trump has been attacked ..... whatever they can think of.... maybe they are afraid of him draining the swamp, cleaning house, ....the dems have wasted considerable time, money, that belongs to us in this goose chase rather than working on healthcare, homeless etc. Maybe the dems are full of horse crap, it shows by their dislike of the president. His personality is ..... unattractive.

I don't think anyone was afraid of him draining the swamp. I like him a lot more than Hillary, a lot more than Biden, but let's be real. President Trump bends over for lobbyist and corporate America as much as any politician before him and more so than many. Drain the swamp? He's literally the creature from the black lagoon. Don't get me wrong, Hillary... Biden... no different.

Yes. He, for sure, is more lobbyist-friendly than Obama or most others. It seems his feeling is they are the SMEs in these areas — like say, for cabinet posts. There is some point in doing this — from a business standpoint, which is what he is used to. This way you get the right people in the right place to do the job they know best. You can make some argumentative points that this does not work as well — but for sure Trump is known for firing ineffective leaders.
Sure, he is for helping the corporations out. That is where the jobs are and he knows he needed to get folks to working.
But depending on how literal, or how far back you take the phrase ‘drain the swamp’ you can see more of that with him — than say Obama.
For instance, if you go back to Reagan and Grace and take it to mean something along the lines of waste, inefficiency, regulation, and red tape — I think you can see some progress. For sure, he has removed a lot of the regulations that were put in place before he got in office. You can draw a correlation to how this aids the corporations. But you can say he removed roadblocks and in a sense is helping to drain the swamp for them.
However, a lot of people were hoping for something more from him in this regard. But he does have to take the wins where he can get them. Never has a president had so much against him to get things done.

Don't forget..when the Soviets were bogged down in Afghanistan. Starting with the Carter administration and continuing through the Reagan and Bush administrations, the U.S. supplied financial assistance, arms, supplies, and in some cases, even training, to Afghan militants ( freedom fighters ), including jihadists, fighting the Soviets...

I do find it interesting that the Democrats were so quick to move on from this subject to other ways to attack Trump. Scooby....you were dead on with your post. The Dems have had years and years to do something productive for the country, but prefer to waste money attacking our leadership.
It's pathetic.

We shared the intel with coalition allies.
The important takeaway, however, remains unchanged: Intelligence reports say a Russian GRU military intelligence unit was paying militants to kill Americans, and weeks after these reports have surfaced, Trump has not done anything about it. Rather, Trump continues to support inviting Russian President Vladimir Putin to return in September to the G-7 table, a sign of restored respect over the objection of allies, after having been thrown out for invading Crimea and Ukraine.
Lawmakers from both parties have demanded answers, and basically gotten few from the White House or the National Security Council, which contends that there was no widespread agreement or proof of the allegations. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md, said after a briefing that nothing he heard would suggest the intelligence reports were a hoax.
There have been additional reports of bank records showing movement of money and an Associated Press investigation showing knowledge of bounties in 2019, a full year earlier than known. Former National Security Adviser John Bolton insists that he told Trump.
A Reuters poll finds that most Americans believe the intelligence reports and more than half want new sanctions against Russia. A parade of former intelligence officials have come forward to argue that normal practice would be to brief the president, and that if true that he was not briefed, that fact is almost worse than if Trump had tried to ignore the whole issue.
All roads lead to Russia!

All roads lead to Russia because that is the narrative the Dems/media choose to chase.
The Russia collusion was "a hoax" , " a witchhunt" that Trump correctly described. Dems will do all they can to connect the dots of Trump w/ Russia. They will keep trying..... and fail yet again falling on their face. Wake me up MIDNIGHT when the DEMS have a plan. All they know is attack Trump . Do they have any positive ideas to offer, or only negativity ??

Colin Powell the Republican all Democrats love, cherish and admire indicated on Thursday that media figures overreacted to a recent report that Russia officials placed bounties on the lives of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan...
"What I know is that our military commanders on the ground did not think that it was as serious a problem as the newspapers were reporting and television was reporting," Powell told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell. "
He added: "But [commander of U.S. Central Command] General [Kenneth] McKenzie ... he did not think this was of that level of importance to us.
Colin you keep this up and I might start admiring you again..even though you voted for Obama ..twice. and the first time was over a fellow vet and POW, that some consider as a war hero.

Not a word from Benedict Donald on this topic.
It's been about 3 weeks now & still not a peep out of the blowhard or his complicit cowards in Congress.
