I guess.  But I get kind of confused when people do this.  Why look all the way to South Carolina to help?  It is nice — don’t get me wrong.  But why not go ahead and help out right at home?  They need help also.  I get if a particular cause strikes your heart or fancy.  But there isn’t plenty of need right at home where you can much more good logistically.  In Florida for example:

Raiders...if you read elsewhere or watched national news you would have learned about the unique situation in the vet facility in South Carolina, I did something to help & then Snorkel & sundance chose to also help these medical workers and veterans.

In the GD forum you will see what I have been doing locally and others in that forum have done what they can in their communities. If I hear about a problem in some other community, I have a tendency to get involved & so did a number of other forum posters. It's the loud mouths in here that want to talk a good game but don't do shit about the problem. We have a lot of selfish prick in here. Right,Rush?

Support the local businesses as much as possible in this time. So hopefully, they can stay open. 

Yup...monthly rent is going to bankrupt many businesses. Restaurants usually rent their refrigeration and cooing equipment. That is another huge expense.

If you have time to do more, check out Meals on Wheels in your community. They provide a tremendous service to housebound citizens.

Our lawn crew just showed up & my wife gave them some macadamia white chocolate cookies she baked earlier this morning. Little stuff like that goes a long way.

Wounded Warriors is a fantastic organization & puts donations to excellent use unlike other organizations that need donations. There's no corporate jets being used there. They are also in tune with the needs of individual vets who need housing adjustments due to injuries and provide guidance to vets recently returning from duty.
