I remember when growing up, we needed to know the Cabinet members & their roles in the current government.
I think it would be difficult for many in here to name at least 5 current Cabinet members.
Why was it so important back then & not now?
And for that matter, how about state capitals, their rivers & mountain ranges? And what they produce & how do they get their product to market? I betcha most Americans would fail a simple test asking similar questions. People think everything comes from Amazon for cripes sake!

You raise interesting points. I guess I can't name five either, but there is at least a partial explanation for this in today's USA: Trump et al are soaking up all the oxygen, and it's unhealthy for all Americans. As a result we don't view politics and policy as an important issue to engage in to help improve the lives of Americans, but instead it's almost become suscinctly tribal warfare just for the sake of partisanship and nothing else. Marjorie Taylor Greene and the rest of the MAGAtts are exhibit A, bar none, but the Dems are only slightly better.
The thread is called "The TRUTH if you can take it!!" Maybe some cannot handle the truth especially if it is about our 45th President Donald J. Trump or those with the TDS.

Try adding value in every post you make and be considerate to others with every post you make. Posting what you did was not adding value it was only meant to retaliate on an earlier post made regarding Biden's fund raising results. I suggest you make more effort to avoid provoking and retaliating and intentionally trying to annoy others. It is obvious your intention, it is the intention of the majority of your messages.
Less partisan antagonizing and more open discussion is what I am again asking you to start doing.
